rule #1 : DONT RUN OVER THE RED SKULL & CROSSBONES!!!

.... had to get that off my chest. anyway, ive been playin sniper quite abit since tryin for my BASIC EXPLOSIVES. been surprised how many points i can actually lose IAR due to teammates not lookin. yes, this game has alot of info to absorb. but... RED SKULL & CROSSBONES????!!!! come on! theres even a lil red box displayin that at the bottom right of your screen if you are too close. punishin the sniper for these kills is soo stupid.

one question i would like to ask, i had, enemy as well as friendly climb or walk over claymores and not get killed, and several times i've placed claymores on buildings and later jumped off that building and run below the building and the friggin mine blow me up, but place a mine on the building in front of the ladder and be sniping, and lo and behold an enemy comes up that same building and shoots me in the back or knifes me in the back, my question is why didn't the mine blow the mec up, and no he didn't throw a grenade up first, i've had that happen too.
on several occasions I knowing that an enemy has spotted me running into a building, I would place a mine in a stairwell and go to the top of the stairwell and go prone
and wait , the guy would come into the stairwell shoot me and the mine never went off
after i'm laying there dying the guy runs out of the building and then the mine detonates, it's hard to ever fell safe with a claymore.

I just have the problem of not being able to tell what the hell it is. I rarely set off friendly claymores, but I really wish they had some way to distinguish what is what...like, make the skull and cross bones different colors for the different explosives

Hmm... my method seems to work just fine for me.
You know what I do? *drumrole*...... I dont walk into them! thadaaaa! Also, if I'm in a vehicle, I dont drive over the skulls either.... and guess what? that works just as fine.

The one thing that annoys me most about such TKs is that, besides the obvious and instant punish, i never see 'sorry wasnt watching out' or anything like that. same deal when someone jumps in front of my buggy from thin air. If i do something stupid like run in front of a behicle or drive over a mine or whatever, i'll apologise to that player for losing them their points! i did that, then the same bloke punished me twice in the same round. ouch.

Friendly idiots are always running over my secretly well placed claymores. Then the fools punish me. Glad I know how to exit and recconect after 4 team kills.

Using claymores always comes with a risk. Since the claymores are so secretly well placed, its hard for everyone to see them. Sure a big skull and corssbones comes up, but it doesnt pop up a sign that points at the claymores saying "Dont go here!!". I can never tell where the hell they are. I'll be standing next to a wall and the warning pops up, I try to find where it is, round the corner, Boom! Well, now that I know where he placed it I can remember to avoid it. Oops, too late.

Forgot to add, dealing with people running into your claymores is one thing, but when people punish for it thats just stupid. Theres no reason to punish someone for setting a claymore, other than you hate the person.
