This server is only up temporarily, I am just developing a release so that anyone can make their server go over 64 players up to 128 players. My server (my home computer) is not very good and will not be able to handle too many players. I am talking to a 64 player server host and it looks like he might be willing to be the first capable server to handle more players. I, or he, will post the server information if it comes through.

I definitely would would be up for a heavy ladden down server. Sometimes more is better :)

Well, I have created a test version of the program that changes the maximum number of players of the dedicated server to any value, but it recommended that you keep it below 128. Anyone who would like to test it on their server is welcome to just pm me and I will send it to you to test. Once I am sure that it is working properly I will post it here.

To use it just run the program on the computer which has the dedicated server running and change the number in the text box to the number of players you want as the server maximum.

I know our server could easily handle 128 players. We have 100mbit pipe so there would be no trouble with bandwidth. With 50 players on its using only 3% of 100mbit!

In fact we could probably host 2 128 player games off the same box no probs.

the max number of players is now increased to 100 but sadly, nobody's there playing... :/

I have decided to just post the test version of the mod to allow more than 64 players in a game. Just go to this makeshift webpage: http://TavuBF2.tripod.com/ and download it from there. right now it is still in testing version but hopefully there will be no problems.

How to use:

1. Download, unzip, and run the program on the server which is running the dedicated server and make sure the dedicated server is currently running.

2. Change the number in the textbox to the maximum number of players you want. The status bar should tell you the maximum player limit has been changed.

3. Done. Let me know how it works for you, and please post your server info here if you use it! I really want to play in a 128 player game =)

U should fix the missing .dll problem first, most dont run 64 player server from their home on XP, they use Win 2003??

We run a 64 player unranked server that is very populated and would like to try this out. PM me with details.

Ohhhhh.. yay! Get TG hooked up with some 128 player goodness! :)

How do squads work with this many people? Have you figured out how to allow more than 9 squads?
