I *heart* AT kit. But its not really a solo, wander around by yourself kit.

Find other AT or Supply personnel and you can own that enemy armor. Whang, Whang, Whang. Dead tank, and he never even knew what hit him.

If you have the misfortune of being alone, watch the turret facing from a hiding place. Remember that your missile does not HAVE to be guided. If the tank is stationary, just don't touch the mouse, and you can move behind cover.

Shoot, Duck, Move.

For infantry contact, do everything in your power to get close. Like a short boxer, you cannot survive from long distance but you can clobber him inside. Save your sprint, run as close as you can before he notices you, then blast away. Or, use the missile if you prefer.

DAO is awesome, but could be considered as a noob weapon. I prefer SMGs mostly.

OT:

Anti aircraft weapons troughout the BF series: BF1942: Flak, machineguns. BFV: Flak, SA-7, machineguns, quad .50. BF2: Bugged Stinger sites wich miss enemy's and hit friendly's instead

Is it just me or the anti-tank kit is the worst ever .. i mean even 3 bloody rockets cannot take down a tank? wtf is with that?

If you shoot at the caterpillars than its just 2 shots but YES the Anti tank gear is the worst definidely!!

I'm glad not many people like the AT kit -- tips the balance in my favour on just about any map out there.

Like above posters have said, the AT is the most versatile kit out there.

The main weapon is the bane of most vehicles (excluding jets) and can also be used to distance snipe soldiers. The DAO-12 is absolutely lethal in CQC being rivaled only by the Jackhammer. On top of that the AT Kit gives Heavy Armor which gives you that much more freedom in a firefight.

It's nice just yesterday I killed 4 guys and a tank in a row :) I shot 2 with the DAO 1 with a knife and took out the the tank with the AT gun.

So did the SA-7 in BFV...

It went for the closest aircraft, which could be a friendly just outside your view, not the thing you were aiming for, you couldnt even lock on, but it wasnt suppost to, it worked like it was intended.
