^^ my thoughts exactly... it doesnt HAVE to be funny... it could be say a close call... like a guy almost gettin shot, etc...
i mean sure we like a good ol funny pic... but we atleast want a bit of variation... not just guys lookin as though theyre gonna crap in the road, etc...

Is there a requirement for exactly what makes a POTD? Seems that as soon as one gets posted a bunch of people jump in and say the pic's not hilarious so it shouldn't be posted. If the caption makes it funny, then surely that justifies posting it?? Or is the whole object to have a funny pic, regardless of the caption? Anyone know? Thanks.

There is absolutely no requirement for it be funny. I post anything that's interresting or different. Funny ofcourse is a bonus, because everyone enjoys it. I don't know where people get the idea that it has to be funny, I have never said anywhere that it has to be funny.

I post anything that I find unique.

I dont know, I mean that is a good pic and all (and I wish I had his comp). Overall it is ok but I'd rather see some stupid glitchs :laugh:

maybe you could get xhibit and west coast customs to "pimp ur plane" and give it some sweet as stickers, and maybe a toaster and a new sound system.

its kinda funny, but real planes have like twice as many panels.controls on their dash board, but nice thought though

And guages that accurately show the attitude of the aircraft. Notice how according to the guages the plane should be flying perfectly level, not to mention the compass appears to have south at the top of the guage as well. :laugh:

so do you need a nice sw-anky computer to take nice sw-anky pics that then get put in POTD or can people submit pics that have been made on a *cough* ropey machine like mine?
i.e all settings on medium?
