I got mine when I was crap and first started playing, I am so proud of it too.

Amen to that. When I first got online and started playing, my greatest contribution to my team was to bleed over them. Being awarded the purple heart after only an hour or so's playing meant the world to me.

I got mine trying to get the veteran engineer badge. I kept getting killed by spec ops while repairing. The Jackhammer is no match for the G36.

Is this medal a prereq for any of the ranks? If not, I'm going to be happy to not get it... for as long as I can avoid it, heh.
