Ok, I read that to get the purple heart you need a kill to death ratio of 4:1 with a minimum of 20:5. On saturday I played BF2 for 16 hours! , and almost all of that as sniper. My best round of the day was a score of 50, 22 kills, 3 deaths (all as sniper), but I didnt get the purple heart. I was gutted because that was such a good round for me! Any ideas why I didnt get it?

Re: problems with receiving the purple heart?
Wiki :
The Purple Heart is a U.S. military decoration awarded in the name of the President of the United States to those who have been wounded or killed while serving in, or with, the U.S. military after April 5, 1917.
That's why you have to die more times then you kill.

heh - yeah it is opposite of being good...although your score does not have to suck to get it. maps that i have spent more time trying to heal, or supply than gun i have gotten it - but still was at the top of the scores for the round.
5 kills and 20 deaths and you are a winner!

Re: problems with receiving the purple heart?
Also I heard that you need the kills first. Meaning if you have 19 deaths and 4 kills....if you get another death, then you'll need 6 kills and 24 deaths.
But if you get your 5th kill and then your 20th death, you'll get it.
Could be wrong though.
