I remapped to "T"

For me its much easier to reach than "G"

Mapped mine to one of the thumb buttons on my mouse. Works great.

I've remapped most of my keys to other functions.

Parachute: 1
Assault rifles: Q
Kife: G
Pistol: H
Grenades: Click the mouse scroll button.
Switch kits: V
Enter vehicle: C

well if ur already use to 9, keep it at 9, the reason why u miss the key is that u cant deploy ur parachute until u have fallen a certain distance..and by that time ur finger mightve already pressed 9 several times

i cant do much of thouse considering
F is rifle
Mouse3 is pistol
control is knife
shift is nades
alt is mines (or c4, ammo)
x is crouch
z is.... hmm i dunno i think i will map it to defibs or wrench
yeah, backspace iwll be parachute

I like mouse4 on my MX518, all it takes is a squeeze of my thumb and I'll float down to the ground safely.

They need to fix so you only have to press the button one time and it opens I am tired of smashing on the button for dear life.

Keep missing your parachute button, well remap it (if you haven't already). I recommend the big fat BACKSPACE key for all those "oh ****" moments when you need to quickly open your shoot.

May seem obvious to most, but believe me you'll be happier once you did it.

Also, someone please curse the guy who mapped the open parachute to the #9 key (almost as bad a the guy who suggested to map it to SHIFT + '=' key).

I use the wheel button. Nothing beats it.

Wouldn't it be great to have voice activation? You could say, "jump" "prone" "reload" "chute" etc, etc.

no as VOIP would be full of people shouting "CHUTE CHUTE CHUTE..FFS CHUTE"

and the bunny hoppers would have no voice left from shouting jump constatly

I use the enter key by my number keys. It easy to reach with my thumb (since my thumb just sits there). Besides, my mouse hand is usually right there by it.
