We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Why bother, we all understand what he said. What worries me more is that people actually give a ****...
Amen, why not try and help him out instead of being a pampas ass and criticizing his spelling.
As for the question. Its like to old saying, those that brag about knowing Kung Fu... don’t. If someone was good enough to get your IP, they would not be bragging about it.

Dude, the word you're looking for is "pompous," not "pampas," unless you're insinuating he's Argentinian.
And take another look at the guy's post. It's beyond pathetic, it's actually scary that someone over the age of 8 is so bad at writing even a simple post.

- about the I.P. - goto GRC.com, satisfy yourself that your pc is a fortress and get back to whatever you were doing.
Who care about IP address? Knowing it gets you no-where near hacking the person. And if your computer is totally unpatched and open to the public its already been hacked, so one extra person wouldnt hurt.
And besides, anyone who is dumb enough to threaten someone with "i know your IP" dosnt know anything about networking, it only scares people who also dosnt know anything about networking
Wow your in a very bad situation, once he obtains you IP (which he has) he could do some very bad things to your computer and all of the computers on your network.
If you haven't noticed anything odd yet, you may get off easy. Do as I did, unplug all your computers wrap them in tin foil, and hope he still doesn't get in to your computer.
It sucks when they find out your IP, but when it happened to me, all I lost was my $400 video card. No biggie considering I could have lost everything just from that guy getting my ip.
Lol, WTF was that? No malicious software ever harmed a hardware device. (cept' once. Windows (joking) and the Harddrivedestroyer.exe - used to get a new HD from the retailer.)
Please explain then how your graphics card was "lost"?

I myself laughed so hard when I first read that, I hope the guy is joking, because if he's not, he probably has a poor knowledge of computers. He probably returned his pre-built PC to Dell, and the ¨tech¨ there told him that he'd need to buy a new video card from them, because some virus fried it :p .
I hope I'm wrong...because it would be sad for the poor guy :hmm: .
