I can just see it now...
The round's been going over an hour. While most of USMC is Ramboing, a single squad has organized itself into a self-sustaining war machine. Spec-ops, Medic, Support, engineer, and two Assault they roll over any infantry, armor, and enemy assets they come across. They stay armed and healed without need of Commander support and they carry enough firepower to become the enemy Commander's personal Artillery target... though he is always too late. This single squad is carrying the team to victory, albeit by a narrow margin, when it happens...
The whole Squad suicides, respawning at the no-cap base, and huddle around the Commander, staring at him.
"WTF?" the Commander asks, "We've almost won this thing, what are you guys doing?"
"Sorry, dude, we're all pushing 300, don't wanna risk it being labeled stat padders."
"But the rest of our team is a bunch of ramboing noobs, if you don't do something we'll lose!"
"Sorry, Chief, guess you're not gettin' your 2x bonus."
Half an hour later, we see a new thread on these boards with a ****ed off CO bitching about selfish quitters. :hmm:
