I guess my tip is wait till they go over their airfield to reload, most new pilots won't want to turn away once they're there.

Let me tell you all about this nutbag Haro aka wethepeople
I am living in Australia and play 100% in australian ranked servers (internode). Haro i believe, is australian as well, he plays in the same servers as i do. I am not a bomber, i use jets to hunt other jets FIRST, then when i eliminate them, or i see a target of oppurtunity, i use bombs and cannons. I never fly bombers (cos they suck, they are like sky buses), I never use missles against enemy jets because i love the cannons and have no trouble taking down a bomber who is taking evasive action (i.e. he knows i am tailing him) in less than 30 seconds using cannons alone. I can do the same with fighters provided the enemy pilot is not too good and/or not flying a J-10. And no, i do not consider myself anywhere near the best of pilots, i would say i am about average. I am a uni student, and just a casual gamer.
Now, let me tell you about this Haro. I rarely see him now, but there was a time when i saw him a lot. . Firstly, he is a crap pilot, extremely easy to shoot down. I have no goddamn idea how he can be 30th. I shot him down plenty on dalian plant maps (i only ever saw him playing that map for some reason). One time, he saw me crash the jet, you know what he did? He switched team immidiately by suiciding, and waited for the jet to respawn, with me waiting for it, and then promptly entered into it before i could, effectively 'stealing' it.
I was shocked when this happened the first time. i gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he got teamswapped, but guess what, in another server, another time, he does it again. I even gave him a piece of my mind telling him not to be a ****** and switch to the opposing team and take the jet that was used by the guy who killed him but he started getting all ****y and whiny like a typical 12 year old. and i just gave up and either played infantry or left. Didnt see him after those few days/rounds.
So if you want to know why this *** can be 30th, i'll tell you. He solves the problem of getting shot down by a superior pilot by simply swapping teams and taking the jet that belongs to the guy who killed him. What a lamer...
Anyway in case someone checks my stats, i have swapped accounts and have not used 'justarandomloser' in a long time. I wont say what my new nick is since i would rather remain anonymous, but i think my current jet ranking on the new account is 1500+. Being primarily a fighter pilot, and focusing on cannons, i dont get many kills with them (i enjoy a good dogfight and you dont get much points for them).
Shame on you, Haro. Go back to counterstrike where you belong. You can switch to the better team all you like, though you cant steal the awp that belonged to the guy that owned you. Maybe thats why you play BF2?
Does someone know that link to the dogfighting guide that was posted months ago?
I just started piloting (on Wake mostly) and it's the best I can do to not get shot down, much less kill someone else in a dogfight. But I blame my technique instead of the game because I get shot down quite frquently.
justarandomloser, firstly ur name says it all, y r u such a mean prick, did i give u 2x purple heart? 1stly i give u 100% u neva shot me down, maybe once or twice, i can dodge preatty good, i only die and alot when im bout to off and ive neva seeing u play in my life with that name.. and!! i dont bomb, i neva fly a bomber and i neva bomb, i use the machine gun thing
and yes i use a keyboard n a mouse, i have a joystick but i use it only for speed....
but for the rest of all we all have our own opinions

Ok first of all....whats so wrong about a purple heart? That purple heart was earned by my 16 year old brother who shares the account with me...and he may get purple hearts but thats because he risks his butt going out there and resupplying & healing his teammates...in other words, helping his team out, instead of stealing enemy jets by swapping team when they get owned. You gonna make fun of him for not being able to kill as well as some experts? I gave him my account and started my own since i am not a points-whore like you are and i thought he would like to be able to use the accounts/unlocks as and when he wished. Go ahead, make fun of my brother to my face, and see if you can still walk home after i'm done with you.....I feel sad for you if you do judge people just because they dont get good K/D ratios. I suppose thats why you are the jet-bomb whore and managed to get to rank 30 even though you are absolutely skill-less in the air?
Secondly, you are welcome to pretend all you like, this is a forum, but i will tell you, i shot you down plenty. I know each and every time because the moment you died i would see you swap teams and fking camp at the hangar just waiting for me to die so you could take the jet and not fear getting shot down by someone better than you. You didnt fly bombers when i killed you (bombers are absolutely powerless against fighters and i do not judge a persons skill if i shoot them down while they are in a bomber), you were in a fighter, but with your crackpot flying, the only way you could have earned any kills at all is by dropping bombs and swapping teams.
I especially find it hilarious that you dont even try to explain your 'team swap, and steal jet' antics. I think anyone reading these posts will know EXACTLY who is telling it like it is, so i need not say any more...lamer...

Heis right guys. He did nothing to deserve your remarks. You people are right - good dog fighting is the most important category to determain whether a pilot is good or not. From what I can judge, there is no way haro is close to being 30th place in the world as an overall pilot. He is 30th in the leaderboards though.
But why this treatment? He bombs well and asks how can he become better in dog fighting. Why not help him with that?
Haro - I suggest you read one of those dog fighting tips and schematics to learn some basic manouvers. These can be more informative then a basic reply in any forum.
Also note - The best planes to use when dog fighting would be (from better to worse):
1) J10
2) Mig29
3) F18 (not sure - it could be as good as the Mig29)
4) F35
5) Su34 and the chinese counterpart.
6) F15.
The J10 is by far - the most agile of them all. Two pilots of the same skills, one using the J10 and the other the F35, or one in the Mig29 and the other in the F35 - The ones in the J10 and Mig29 would win.
The best possible "fair" dog fight would be the one in Kubra dam - when the Mig29 and the F18 engage each other. I once had a 30 minute dog fight with someone there. It was crazy. I got the other guy's plane smoking, but none of us could finish it off.

These quotes dont make any sense. First you say he never shot you down. Then you say he shot you down maybe once or twice. Then you see youv never seen him in your life. Then you say you dont bomb but you use the machine guns.
Theres no way you can be ranked 30th in Aviator just by using the machine guns to take down someone. It doesnt make any sense, especially as your here asking for help in shooting down planes.
You should already know this, but i will say it again. My nick when i killed you multiple times, on different occasions, and when you swapped team at LEAST twice in those rounds when i killed you immidiately after you knew i died is justarandomloser. I changed my nick only recently and have not seen you in internode servers since long before i changed my account. Just because you 'don't remember' me doesnt mean it didnt happen. Like i said, this is a forum, for whatever reason you may want to protect your 'reputation' but to you (and anyone else) i say: Why in god's name would i lie???? What possible gain can i get from it?? I am 25 years old, which is indicative of the fact that i already mentioned i am a uni student. gaming is not my life, which is why i said from the beginning that i am just a casual gamer, nothing even close to l33t or anything like that. I dont have illusions about me being the best player around, or anything remotely close. I couldnt care less about your world ranking but i do use it as a point to make about the validity of these rankings since you obviously do not fly well. Which in itself is perfectly excusable, what is the sick part about you is that you absolutely LOVE to swap teams and take the jets from the guys who killed you, i have NEVER ever come across anyone who ever used the same lame tactic as you did. Bombing is really nothing compared to a good old-fashioned dogfight. Dogfighting is the best adrenaline booster in this game. When I fly fighters or bombers I always try to engage enemy fighters and bombers. This gives your team air superiority and you can actually help your team to win.
