i got my veteran explosives just throwing c4 on to people... got 40 c4 kills that round (Karkand)

Heh I wish I could do that. Everytime I try that and switch to the detonator it drops more C4 and I end up dying without getting any kills. Effing C4 bug anyway.

A question, though - Explosives ordinance is the only badge I don't have (basic, anyway) and I'm only about 3500 points away from Master Gunnery Sergeant/Sergeant Major. Ubar says that the explosives badge isn't required for SgtMjr, but I just want to be sure. I really don't want to have to get this badge unless it's necessary for SgtMjr (or until they fix the C4 bug), so I was wondering if any of you got SgtMjr without getting
the explosives badge.


In other words, is ubar correct in their requirements?

screenshots go to my documents/battlefield2 they should be there least mine r.u may need to look in the folders after battlefield2 but there ya r.

Veteran is nothing. Expert is a cold-hearted b****. Just gotta find the right server to do it on. No-TK servers are your friends.

If you play a 64 player map with 32 players on it, it will be much easier because the rounds last a lot longer.

damn..i got my basic with mines and claymores... I'm having a hard time getting veteran. Especially since I'm not into suiciding.

You don't need to suicide...just gotta be wiley e. coyote with the c4. :) It's not hard...blow up a tank here, a jeep there, a squad trying to cap some flags over there...etc, etc.

I bet you could lay some c4 down on a helipad and wait...when the pilot dies and respawns, as soon as he gets back in BOOM...if he's smart he might catch on though.

I qualified for Veteran just before the patch but now I can also get expert, I dont want to try it and get the same problem with the basic pistol and knife thing.

As it will be hard to get 23, if I manage to get there I mostlikely may as well go for 37 but I dont want the vet one not registering.

I also feel that throw c4 at someone and blow yourself up is kinda ****. Seems like ill waste alot of time getting complete **** scores for nothing. 300 ticket plus servers would be great, Only problem is usually when the rounds last long there aint enough people there to c4. You will need a good commander to have UAV's constant etc.

Seems impossible to me. Yet I said that about expert knife.
