I've spent many an hour on CoD and CoD UO multiplayer. No other multiplayer fps is as polished, balanced, and fun to play on such a basic level. If i were to compile a list of great gaming moments, i'd put shooting a kar98k in CoD right at the top.

Don't get me wrong, BF2 has plenty of great stuff, and is a lot of fun. But it seems to take so much effort from the player to get the best out of it, for better or for worse. BF2 is not all that fun for me unless i've found a good server, a good squad working with voip, and a halfway decent commander.

As i'm sure most of you know, thats pretty rare. The rest of the time, the sort of free-for-all crapshoot that ensues is much better played in a game that rewards the individual more for his skill, like CoD. If it's going to be every man for himself, i'd rather do it without a team dragging me down, if you know what i mean. On top of that, CoD is also more polished, balanced, and is a LOT quicker to just jump into, without clunky logins, bad browsers, and long load times.

I'll still be playing BF2, But if CoD2 is anything like the original, i'll be playing it a lot more.

I will probably drop playing BF2 once COD2 comes out.
I'm not a COD fan boy because never owned the first one but BF2 is starting to suck monkey balls big time at the moment.

X3 Reunion, Civ 4, AOE 3, F.E.A.R, COD 2 and i've still got to play planescape torment and baldurs gate 2 which i got last week, might be able to squeeze a quick go of bf2 in somewhere.. :P

I bought Half Life 2 the same time I got BF2 and I haven't even installed it yet. Most of my gaming time is spent on Battlefield with a group of friends I've forged due to playing it.

I'll more than likely pick COD2 up but it'll have to wait like Source until I've had my fill of BF2.

Cod2 is totally different, more for singleplayer than multiplayer. Not much can match the intensity of the fights in singleplayer CoD. CoD2 promises more of that same intensity.

CoD2 for singleplayer, BF2 for multiplayer, the best of both worlds:)

Yeah i'll get it for single player but also some mindless MP action where I don't have to worry about gettting shot by my own team for vehicles.

I have played the COD2 demo and I have mixed feelings: I loved COD:UO, the demo Singleplayer of COD2 mission is great, but MP is a big open quesiton for me. I played COD for a year, including some clan wars, but now I switched to BF2 and don't want to go back. I don't know if COD 2 MP will be good enough to beat BF2 experience.

What's COD2? Do you mean the new expansion? Because that's all it is. When I was playing the demo, I thought I was playing COD. Was my version messed up or was it me because I didn't see a health bar. Plus my teammates were always running into me and blocking the way. COD2 blows goats sack.

I know. Those aß jockeys at Bohemia and/or Codemasters insisted on developing the game for the soon-to-be-defunct X-Box instead of concentrating their efforts on the sequel. I feel the X-Box version is going to crash and burn, as it looks like total aß compared to other games out there graphics-wise and as I said, X-Box 360 is just around the corner.

How many years have they been working on an X-Box version, and it's STILL not out? Oi! Just make the dang sequel already!
