No clue. Does that pretty much happen when you hit "Run Bench"

AH, right. I was waiting for the patch issue. I'd just need the time to record another demo. If you need something in the mean time you can find directions on this forum on how to create a demo, and then add those files to my benchmark's sub-folder labeld "Demos"...or something like that :)

Quote from my site:BF2 Bench comes with a demo map which runs on version 1.03 of BF2. However, users can easily add their own custom made maps. Simply, drop any recorded demos and their prespective cameras inside BF2Benches “Demo” folder

I've pretty much forgotten about this app since I released it. I'm crunching at work too much. Probably can't give it any time until after the 16th, though I might go ahead and put the source up there for anyone who wants to expand the app.

I just signed up to TotalBF2 for the sole purpose of posting this:

Can you or someone post demo files for the latest BF2 patch? I'm dying to run this ap because I've just purchased some new RAM and a new CPU and I want to get some "before and after" comparisons.

i want to restart this thread, because the guru bench,... i cant get to work.....
now i find this app,..... i cant get to work....... it starts, starts up bf2, goes black, seems like its going to login page, few seconds, back to desktop. nothing. help.

i have a bios modd vgpu to 1.51, mem volt mod to 2.15, though going to goto 2.3, but i want to adjust my vid mem timings so that i use less non-local vid mem usage in game. so i really need a bench, quake 4 doesnt come near, and i dont want to re-install hl2, hated it.

sorry to bump this, but does anyone have a 1.3 demo to use with this benchmark program?

Yes I think so if you replace the demo file right? I'm going to make a demo right now : )

                          Re: New BF2 Benchmarking Tool

I really wish there was too. I did get it to actually use a demo file I made once, but I could not get it to produce a chart or data like it's supposed to. I tried PM'ing people including the author. However, either people didn't respond, or they couldn't remeber how they did it. It's too bad, becuase I think this tool has so much promise. I think it's absoloutly UNSAT that there is no easy way to benchmark this damn game, and everytime you do get a demo and cam file together, a new patch comes out and makes them useless. I don't understand why EA made it so hard to benchmark. I think it's a great marketing tool to have an easy time-demo type program for you game, becuase then EVERY review will use it, and then MORE consumers will be exposed to the game. But, apparantly EA just wants to continue to take our money and just make things difficult for us. I thought about buying 2142 until I heard about the adware BULL$hi7.
