Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Maybe it was just me, but what if they were to switch everyone on your team to the other nation? Less fair, but more fair than the normal setting and it would keep squads intact.
It is a great idea and I love playing on the servers that do it. However whatever they do never I repeat NEVER remove the ability to switch teams...the biggest thing I hated about Star Wars Battle Front....
And so what if you get the jackass that always switches, it's there own fault for being rude and having no respect for the game....plus they are prolly 12 :)
No, probably 40 but still goes to school with 12 year olds. I'm glad they don't let you switch teams on some servers, I hate those who join the winning team until they pitifully outnumber the losing one, it totally invalidates the win/loss section of your stats.
yeah i played on these servers the other night and was kinda surprised, i like the idea as it kinda throws you offbalance when you expect to restart the map just as you had done before only to find you cant click the spawn (realising this i pressed kit to find im now on opposite team with the entire squad i was with.
its excellent for keeping you on your toes as now your plans rapidly change so you must adapt.
I don't remember the name but I was once on a server which played two rounds per map. However, they would automatically switch your team every round. This eliminates any possible imbalance problem in the map, and I encourage more servers to do it. What do you guys think?
Ya I played a few servers like that in the last couple of weeks. It was fair and it prevented team stacking. It also showed you which team had the better players. Which also should send a message to most of you that its not always a once sided MEC, USMC, or CHINA always win on certain maps (i.e. Wake Island) some of you think its always so one sided.
While I like the idea, I feel that it should be left up to server admins and them alone...As in EA should not get the bright idea of making it standard :) (since im sure they will FUBAR it) Plus if they remove the switching teams thing people cant switch to play with there buddies...
It's a function of BF2CC - just like the language filter and those little messages that show up in game.
Our server does it. It's brilliant. Yes, the first time it happens to you it can confuse the crap outta ya. I put a message on our server that warns people about it.
The other nice thing, I think, about BF2CC is that it can kick IDLE players which is BRILLIANT. I hate being on a side that looks like it has a full team but half the people aren't spawning.
