Ive been playing around with GIMP for a while and I finally made myself a new sig. It may seem basic to you people but it took me over an hour. haha. Most of the time was spent remaking the Cardinal logo in color because the emboss effect pretty much cut it out. I think its looks pretty good. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.

Ive been playing around with GIMP for a while and I finally made myself a new sig. It may seem basic to you people but it took me over an hour. haha. Most of the time was spent remaking the Cardinal logo in color because the emboss effect pretty much cut it out. I think its looks pretty good. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.

Pretty good for a 1st attempt. But you need to read the sig. rules as its too big & will get removed -

Signatures
Signature must fall within the height, width and file size restrictions, otherwise it may be removed without prior notice. Here is a complete list of restrictions:

- Allowed formats: jpg, jpeg, gif, png
- Total Dimensions of the images used must not be over 550x180
- Maximum height of 180 pixels
- Maximum width of 550 pixels
- Maximum file size of 200kb
- Maximum 3 lines of text

Theres also a sig. rule I hadn't seen before -

Showing your stats in your signature is not allowed. Instead, users may display their stats in the postbit with this icon . To do so, go into your User Control Panel, press Edit Profile and type in your PID in the appropriate field near the bottom.

but many people ARE doing it. Is this rule not being enforced ?

I use Paintshop pro 7 and Photo-filtre which are both free
