Hello,I post this because with the new patch the 1.03 the ranks up very fast and then,with my points and all I will are a first sergeant,I have all the badges necesaries,but I am only a master sergeant,can anyone helpme please?I am playing with the new patch from the day that is out and my rank don't change....

lmao nate, sup man didnt know you on these forums. when did you get your veteran pistol badge nate? if you got it in the same round as your basic, your screwed. search the forums for pistol bug, lotta topics about it.
btw nate, that 93 hrs in the heli, thats just sexy.Comment

I talked w/ destroyer about it (ty btw). He says apparently the game only sent the fact that you got veteran pistol that round to the ranked server. It never has a record of you getting basic pistol. Because basic pistol is required for the rank increase (even though this site does not list it as a requirement, nor do other sites I've looked atOriginally posted by Freikorp ) :edit: oops, it does list it as a requirement 
: the game thinks, "well he doesn't have basic pistol, so we can't give him 1st sarge."
Apparently there is no way to "re-earn" basic pistol leaving us with waiting for a patch or contacting EA. I did the latter though i doubt they will fix anything.
Even though it sucks real bad, I think it is actually pretty funny :laugh: .Comment

Yeh well I just looked at BFHQ, 2493 points... thats cool 7 to sergeant, go play a game, get 17 points... doesnt update bfhq.. now we play the wating game...Comment

mine too man dunno whats with that, status bar is done with i thinks because they changed the point/rank requirements and, well, given their past "flawlessness", they probably overlooked that small detail.Comment

Yea. I have been playing since I patched on the 10th. I gained 2-3 ranks witht eh new point system right away but now my points, kills, nothing is updating. And its been 3-4 days
Talk about bunk.

hmmmm, has anyone else had any experience with EA tech support? Mine so far has been:
ask a question: "What can i do to get someone to fix my rank or what are you doing to fix this pistol bug???"
e-mail back : "hey thanks for the question! We'll have someone look into it within 24 hours, make sure to check out our knowledge data base."
24 hours later...nothing
48 hours later...nothing
I checked out the database. Nothing there, of course. Even uploaded my dxdiag info despite the fact it is completely irrelevant. :sigh:Comment
