DAO is a million bajillion times better then the SMGs
Jackie is only an upgrade over the MEC gun

DAO has hella long reload time, but you can interrupt it if someone sneaks up on you
Jackie has shorter reload time

DAO has lotsa ammo
Jackie runs out in 3 seconds

AT class has armor
Engie has the magic Spanner

DAO is semi auto, but if you're a fast clicker it will shoot faster then the Jackie
Jackie is fully auto, and that's l33t for a shotgun

The Jackie is more powerful... But it comes down to preferance. I liked the Jackie, but I feel that having body armor is a big bonus so I chose the DAO.

for me the pump shotguns are allways better

i only use the unlock when playing on mec, and that is if i dont see an american engineer kit in the ground:p

i still think the shotguns are underpowered, try to shoot someone in the chest (even with a kevlar) in real life with a shotgun to see what happens he he he he :p

Personally I hate the DAO. Id prefer the standard AT guns in most situations except VERY close range. In my opinion the Jackhammer is better. Once you get good at controlling yourself you can get three kills out of it easily and not have to reload.

If anything the DAO has more spread and is not as tight. I find I can easily kill someone without them getting a shot off with the jackhammer but not so with the DAO as they just dont go down as fast.

been owning today for once.. defending the central CP in the Oilfields map.

all because of the DAO! coupled with the AT it gave me the 'punch' to knock back some serious weight tossed my way at times. I lost count at how many infantrymen I shot inside and around the building, once 3 guys with 1 clip..

up to the point where they lost all interest in the CP and pretty much left me alone for the remainder of the round

if the situation is right, any weapon can own, granted.. I don't think I'd have been able to hold the point with only the MP5 though, and with the AT I took out several snipers on top of the big oil cisterns

I would choose the DAO. I have unlocked both the DAO and Jackhammer, and I find the DAO gets me more kills. The Jackhammer doesnt have enough ammo in a clip and I find I run through it way too fast. It is so different using the DAO than the Jackhammer, as it has almost twice the ammo, with similar rate of fire. Lol im not a private either

Get the one that you would use more like for a class. If you use ENG more then get that, vice versa.

I unlocked Jackhammer at Sergeant because I play engineer most, then did DAO-12 at Staff Sergeant because I already had the Jackhammer, PKM and G36C. Didn't want the other 3 choices left at that point.

jackhammer is good if you can do single shot.
1 shot kill in the chest in cqb
