The Jackhammer rocks! When in a tank and you see a SpecOp aleady too close to you for the tank's guns planting C4 just jump out and waste him with the Hammer! Great fun.

Jackhammer is fully auto if that makes a difference for you. I just prefer the engineer class to the anti-tank. Why? I don't know. It must be the boonie cover.

everyone rags on the jackhammer having full auto... who cares about full auto. you can go into a fight with the jackhammer having full auto and be out of ammo in an instant, but with the dao all you have to do is aim, and fire as fast as your finger can move. dao is top dog in this comparison.

Im using both they are both good for their respective classes but these weapon unlock posts are pointless since now you get unlocks every few hundered points .... just wait and play a day and get unlocks tomorrow
before patch 1.03 they were justifiable because it actually took quite some time between unlocks.

Huh? I thought you only got unlocks when you got a higher rank? I've been trying for Sergent for 2 weeks without any unlocks....

There Is Nothing That Will Kill An Enginner At Close Range If He Has A Jackhammer.

Sure there is - another Engineer with a pump shotgun. Or an Assault guy with a G3 or AK-101 or AK-47. Or an Anti-tank guy with a DAO.

I like the Jackhammer. you can use it Full Auto too if you get in a tight situation.

The "spread" on the DAO seems a bit tighter. So if I am aiming at your head (close range), I seem to score more headshots with the DAO.

Also, the DAO has a better sound. It's scary sounding. :)


BTW: The G3 is better than both of these guns at close range.
