Dont know about the music, but to disable the video's add: +restart 1 to the shortcut target e.g "D:\Programfiler\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart 1

I turned my music volume to 0 and I've never heard that dumb music past day 1...

setting the music volume to 0 works for me, but if you edit the shortcut to the game with your login information so it auto logs you in when you start the game the music still plays even though under the menu it shows it at 0.. makes no sense

...but if you launch the game using All-Seeing Eye or another server browser app, the loading music plays regardless of your settings.

Plus, it's a good indicator of how far along the loading process is.

As I expected, I get kicked from ANY PB server, because only clients with unmodified binaries are allowed

So much for disabling menu music.

At least the anims can be disabled and killed for good
