Ihave renamed them long time ago.
But does someone else use ase to launch the game? maybe thats the reason cause fresh installation doesn't help.
Nothing changes when I move music silder. AND YES; I PRESS APPLY.

Re: How to disable menu/load music?
noticed that menu music is in .zip file and if you edit it, cannot join pb servers.
There must be something totally wrong, if somekind of gamecompany thinks with that kind of serverbrowser, that someone uses it and not ASE.

Re: How to disable menu/load music?
Just delete the movies. That's what I did and everything still works.
\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies
I deleted them all except for menu.bik and menu_loggedin.bik
I also have music turned off in the game. I don't hear anything on startup

Re: How to disable menu/load music?
Thankfully I have my speaker volumn control right on my desktop. I always kill the music until game starts.
I know that doesn't help you but maybe if you ever get new speakers you can find a pair with a volumn control (it's on a cord and can sit on your desk).

Re: How to disable menu/load music?
Locate your Common_client.zip in Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\
Open it and browse to Common_client.zip\Sound\Menu\music\ and delete menu_music.ogg...
If the file ain't there, it won't play, however, I take no responsebility for how this may affect your game.

Re: How to disable menu/load music?
has anyone ever figured out if we are able to change the load and menu music? i dont think they would allow it being punkbuster supported and all, but we were able to do that in the need for speed underground games, and those were also EA games.

I already deleted all the *.bik files, so no annoing movies anymore are present, the menu music is the last thing that eat my memory and resources w/o reason, yet... We see NOW
