If I had the choice between a new map and El Al, I would choose El Al hands down, because I KNOW its an awesome balanced map, unlike the plethora of US-only uncap-able's that pollute BF2......

Someone should make a Disneyland map!!! Scenario: The terrorists have taken over the Small World Ride, as well as Captain Eo. Special forces under the USMC branch must infiltrate the park and rid the happiest (and now most handicap-accessable place [they got rid of the people mover in the sky!! DAMn THEM]) of this terrorist threat.

Seriously though it would be fun to play a first person shooter in an unorthodox setting that can't be found in any typical fps on the market.

I NEED lostvillage back from DC!!! Hopefully the map will atleast be out for the bf2 mod Desert Conflict though =]. I'm looking forward to the arrival of the mods, that is, if they ever come.

some classic DC and '42 maps would be sweet... Basrah's Edge, El Alamein, Iwo Jima, etc...

I know mappers will be doing their fare share of remakes, as well as fresh content... Its just stinks that with the ranking system and all, people will prefer to hang on ranked servers -- need more 'official ranked' maps out.

This would actually be pretty fun but I bet all the roller coaster models and what not would create a lot of lag. It would be awesome for sniping though and imagine how wild the level would be if the rides and ferris wheels were active and you could get on them and shoot at people while passing by..rofl.

since when did gamespy start making maps. El Al was in the original release of 1942.

I hated El Alemien. It was so freakin big and was just an armor map. Wasn't that fun at all.

Wake can be anything you want it to be. Infantry, armor, chopper, plane, snipers. Doesn't matter. Whatever you feel like.

There is an El Alemien BF2 map, infact it looks really really nice. Unfortunately I forgot where I saw it. Try FileShack, or all of those types of places, it looks really awesome though.
