At first - stalls, spent too much time in the helo - would stall then crash and burn.

Now - other pilots more than anything.

I swear there are hacks out there - I can't even think straight as to where I am going, looping, etc - and these SOB's are on me with the damn chain gun the WHOLE time. There is just NO WAY that they can predict every flip turn, etc that I am doing. I know some planes out maneuver others, - but even when I steal the enemy plane - we are on equal ground...and they can still out turn, flip, etc.

These guys who can turn the plane on a dime now are ****ing me off. I literally was right behind a guy last night he started to nose up a bit, just barely lost sight of him for less than 2 seconds and he was coming straight at me and killed me with missles. He was not coming in at an angle from a looped turn or anything - he did not get that far ahead of me with afterburner, as I was burning mine trying to catch him.

Also - as commander one night - had the UAV up and saw a plane going side to side, left then right, within the UAV screen in a jet. I zoomed in to see first hand, sure enough, he was flipping and going the opposite direction in less than a second. There was no, flip turn or anything like that - he flew in from the left, his plane spun horizontally 180 degrees on a dot and he flew back out to the left, over and over and over.

what kills me most is AA rockets... no, not because they hit me but because when you're on a full server in a plane 3/4 of the time you're being locked on so i try to dodge and keep trying to dodge until i end up in some tree...

The rankings in this game mean absolutely nothing.

If you want to find good pilots, play in organized leagues and ladders. That's where you'll find them. Lots of the superskilled players, hardly, if ever, play this game on ranked servers.

Just FYI.

Oh, and I'd say 90% of my deaths while flying have come from lagging out as I'm divebombing a target. Daqing Oilfieds is by far the worst, followed by Gulf of Oman.

Mine is myself :-p It seems like 75% of the time I die in a plane its from crashing, either by getting too cocky, or by trying to outmanuever someone and looping too close to the ground lol. The other 25% would be skilled pilots/AA of course.

But I definatly own myself more than anyone does in a plane.

How about you guys?

Here the order from worst enemy to lightest:
1. TK by friendly AA. Even though enemy AA does not bother me a lot, the friendly one, when they miss the enemy jet, are already extremely close, and sometimes it is too late to do anything to save myself.
2. Me - accidental kamikazi with enemy choppers or jets. It is very rare now, but in the begining, I sometimes broke away too late and found my self crashing in choppers.
3. Friendly choppers/jets. Mostly because they don't look at their radar when I come and rearm, but sometimes by my fault - I crash with friendly aircrafts.
4. Enemy jets - When not in the Chinese or MEC jets (I prefer them), a good player can take me down (though unless extremly skilled - not easily). When in the Mig29 - only very few took me down with the F35 while I'm in the Mig29 (one guy actually). In the J10 I wasn't taken down by enemy jets yet.
5. AA guns - they are usualy easy to avoid. But sometimes they get their way.
6. Spwan campers of all sorts.
7. Crashing on land - I crashed 3 times so far, so it's not a big problem.
8. I got killed twice by... friendly artilley - in MID AIR ! :laugh:

I'm note sure it is hacks. I swear - I do not use any kind of hacks. Just my old and beloved MS sidewinder joystick, but I wasn't taken down in the J10 yet by enemy jet and I was taken down in the Mig29 by enemy jet only by one player. So as far as differences between jets - it is very important (I got shot down in the F35 a few times. Surely much more then in the J10 and Mig29).
Were they using hacks? Maybe. Chances are, as much as I'm quite a good pilot, they were just better.

lol i have to agree with the stuff bout m95's....although i never shot down a jet with one yet...taken out loads of choppers...spesh the ones hoverin over flags, they got more than a flag :p. I suck at flying jets with mouse...n im too skint to afford a joystick :cry: cos then i might actualy do some ownage.

No once your good at jets your can pull anything off. Also having better tools and knowing how to use them is important. I can turn on a dime thanks to the G7's 2000 DPI image resolution which basically Ups my sensitivity to levels unimaginable.

More importantly is when your on someone you dont fly at full speed. You fly slightly slower than them and at about a 20 M distance to give you time to respond with afterburners. If he's using his afters you want a 50 M distance.

The blunt fact is people who cant achieve something simply blame it on hacks instead of real actual skill which most jet pilots only have. Unless you can show me a program that'll fly a jet for you and track an enemy in the same mannar I'll never believe that there is a hack for jets.

my worst enemy is LAG!!!!!!!!!!
my poor radeon 9250 barely runs stable around 25fps
when too much details are revealed when i'm in the air ... FREEZE
and when it unfreeze i'm either underground or above the earth's atmosphere

Depends on what I'm doing exactly. If I am in the air with little air resistance, I'll probably slow myself down and start picking off targets precisely. Then, my worst enemy would be that tank/chopper going for a lucky shot against me.

When in the average game, my worst enemy is other planes which are piloted by those better than me. I can outmanouver and take down most pilots, but it's the minority that can get me that usually end up making me smile everytime they manage to get me.

In all situations however, those long antenna towers in the middle of nowhere that are barely visible at 1000mph tend to be annoying as s**t.
