I know it sounds stupid, but I try to loose missile lock or a persuing plane by flying low to the ground, smokestacks, oil storage containers...etc. Inevitably I hit them.....

Either lags or the AA! other pilots aren't much a problem! But it might be coz I'm a pilot in real life, dunno?

The occasional pilot that i cant shoot down, i tail him forever, then he hits the gound or something lol.

Trees... They jump right out at you... From nowhere... They ruin great strafing runs... I've lost more lives to them than enemy pilots and AA combined!

My biggest enemy is my desire to kill. I'll focus on bombing too much and ignore the pilot that's been buzzing me from behind. Eventually I get sloppy and let him shoot me. Also teammates seem to get me a lot and stray missiles.

The noxious gas that apparently resides in the upper atmosphere of the BF2 world that completely removes your ability to fly to keep you from exiting the map. That and those annoying antenna-like towers they insist on putting right on the edge of the runway. I clip my wings on those things far too much when trying to reload or repair.
