Customer support only works the first month that the game comes out, after that, companies dont give a ****.
well there must be something we can do legally... maybe submit a complaint with the BBB. maybe e-mail tec magazines and gaming magazines, have them publish all the non orthidoks ways that EA is going about with dealing with there costemers. maybe that will give them a hint.

The best way to get support from EA is to call them. Its the only time I got any help when I had first got BF42

If you call, never call the german EA support! I phoned them twice, waited 20 min in the line (2$ per min) and the answer I got: "We can't help you with your basic pistol badge problem, you won't get FS rank, live with it!" WTF???

Dunno how US EA support is, but the german one is sh**!

While this applies greatly to retail outlets or restaurants that all sell pretty much the same thing (like where you choose to buy your copy of BF2), it's less of a factor when a company has a monopoly on such a unique product, like EA has with BF2.

If you prefer the taste of Mt. Dew over Mello Yello, but hate Pepsi-Cola's customer service, you have to either give up on Mt. Dew or put up with shoddy service. Easier said than done, since you have no choice as it's a unique (tasting) product monopoly.
