i hit a heli with a tank and then it flew off to kill someone then when it was coming back to resupply i hit it again and the bugger lived!

Aye, tanks should be able to kill heli's with one shot like in DC, but that would upset the plane fairy's at dice.

Agreed. If they made it one shot like it should be there would be less of a problem with the chopters ruling the skies.

If you shoot the cockpit it will kill the pilot, downing the helo in one hit.

I have been killed 1 shot from a tank many times, full heatlth too. Ive also managed to pull it off once while i was in a tank too.

mostly I hit the choppers one time and switch fast to the turet on the tank shotting with the .50 , choppers are dozn in an eyeblimp.

Never had two times fireing on a chopper with a tank and the thing stayed in the air, they are always down, think it's fine like it is.

People saying it isn't realistic, for the 1.000.000.000 time, Battlefield is an arcade shooter, it isn't realistic, it's balanced

I agree tank rounds are to weak & it should be 1 direct hit from a tank should destroy all choppers. But I really feel this game has been dumbed down to cater to the arcade crowd.

of course a tank shell would murder any aircraft or non to lightly armored vehicle it hits especially helis. But the fact of the matter is if this were real life you would never ever ever be shooting at an aircraft with a tank shell. So be thankful it is atleast easy to hit the aircraft so the reasoning behind it taking 2 shells is probably in the name of balance

i disagree, again its about balance issues. if aircrafts were that weak it would take forever getting from base to base.

Thats not quite true, i believe tank crews are trained to take down slow moving arial targets.
