I am VERY observant when it comes to the arty. I will, everytime, before I move into a map check my mini-map to see if they are artying the base. I use the mini-map all of the time, I find it to be one of the most vital tools in the game.

Before the patch, I NEVER had a problem with getting accidentally arty unless it was clearly my fault.

However, just yesterday, I was moving into a base with the tank. As usual, I check the mini map and see no arty. I move in, get about 4 kills, and, because I have noone else with me and there is no UAV, I am looking around to make sure noone sneaks up on me. Next thing I know, as I am capping the flag, I arty starts falling on me. I was a SL, the commander didn't even give me a "arty, your area." It was pretty annoying. . . and, as I said, this has never happened to me before. During that game and the next I saw too many teammates getting destroyed by arty.

It looks like the enemy commander saw his guys get whacked, saw you capping the flag, and dropped on your head. You don't get those warnings when the enemy does it.

Although, even if it were the case, it would be idiotic for the other commander to drop an arty on his own base that his guys were spawning at attempting to get me.

Theres alot of morons in this game...

Some is commanding, some is infantry, some is tankers, some is pilots... They are everywhere...

At least when its a commanding moron you DO get a warning

If you mean points for kills you didnt except in the demo but if you mean the kills arnt recorded i honestly dont know ive not been commander since the patch.

For those with the comm purposely artying your base to kill your soldiers for kicks.. yeah, that sucks.

For the rest of you that play with cone/tunnel vision. Completely oblivious of the "ARTY, YOUR AREA!" and the HUGE red marker on your mini-map; basically everyone that plays and doesn't pay attention to what's going on around them. Please quit.

If its my fault, I have no problem forgiving.. whether its arty or otherwise..

but when its an obvious moronic tk, I punish every time.

Some commanders see they have a arty available, and just launch it
anywhere they see fit.. even if there are teammates around..

I get more frustrated with useless commanders than I do with even
a noob commander who is at least trying..some guys just command to
get the 2x bonus, then uav/supply themselves all game.. rarely help
their teammates.

is it easier to mutiny after the patch? I havent checked..

No penalty for arty TK is moronic for the very reason mentioned. Some kid gets his jollies arty TK-ing on a no kick or ban server.

You gotta go SF and blow up your own arty.

Last night some nOOb literally gets commander on Kharkand and was also a Tank whore so for 10 minutes we get no support and despite several "resign please" and "command !" comments, nothing.

Last night I was playing on karkand, and playing one of the best games I've ever played. Well, my team was extremely inept, and we got down to one flag. They white flag it, and the commander and myself are the ones alive. I kill the 3-4 guys at the flag just before they capture it. Well I'm holding off the rest of the enemy that was moving in (2-3 stragglers). Well it looks like I'm gonna get the base, I've got a UAV over me and the enemy was coming in force, but I was gonna make it. The commander decides to arty the base I'm at. The commander kills 4-5 enemy soldiers, AND me, about .5 a second before the flag was going to cap. Of course the commander dies shortly after that.

That, is a stupid commander. I have no idea how many times I've been arti'd when I'm about to capture a base just so the commander can get those 2-3 enemy arti kills. And yes its the commanders fault. When he sends in an arti at my position while I'm capping a flag, its his fault.
