Delete, Add/remove BF2.
GO to your Program FIles *DELETE* > EA GAMES > BF2 folder.
GO TO MY DOCuments > delete BF2 all of it.

Install BF. A new folder name and all.

V1.02 AND ENJOY. DONT UPDATE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO. PLAY WHERE THERE IS LESSER BUGS AND STILL STABLE. =) That is just my two cents.
There are many servers still and it feels so much better to be in them! =)

The fix for 1.03 IS 1.02 patch i guess :laugh: . For me is better than the new one. No lag and FULL GRAPHICS (no the crap of 1.03)

On the contrary to your posts, the game went from enjoyable to intolerable. The new rank system basically blows and seems to be no challenge. The netcode is screwed up now, and you get shot while not even seeing the person. For example:

A helicopter and his gunner were flying beside a building, here I am on the side where he can't see or hit me with the big wall blocking me. However, he shot at the corner, and I wasnt visible but still killed me. Also another instance, I shot my gun from a helicopter to the side of my teamate to see how the bullets run. Aiming about 1' - 1.5' away from him (just imagine it in scaled down game measure) and he died. The bullets hit the enemy and teamates easier. You aim to the right or left and you hit the enemy. Before you would actually MISS! =/ Anyways, there are more than a handful of servers, and those servers run smooth and all. Big ones too. Later

honnestly aside from some small tweaking i have seen no improvement over 1.02 but i had no real problem with it so 1.03 is a keeper

I would listen to you Gergnoodle if I had about a 30 pak of beer, some pills, maybe some extacy or another form of drugs however, im not an idiot. You people claim this is the minority, the people having the issues however you need to realize this is the united states forums. This doesnt include China, japan, SWEDEN, etc you moron. I had lag on some servers, and then upgraded punkbuster from their site. No problems whatsoever, although I deleted that crap server from my favorites. In fact the game seems to look better and play better than 1.02, except for those weird cases where someone dives from 100 meters away and shoots me in the head with a medic kit while I'm pounding and hitting him with G36C. Or even worse.. I am coming around the building to run away from enemy fire, and I KNOW that I managed to get around that corner, and yet I am killed. I got only 50ms lag.
