GLITCH/HACK Found - Have Pics

I was playing Strike on Karkand when I noticed a player who was in MEC camo but had a red nametag as an unfreindly instead of the blue and was not listed on my HUD. The pics are Medium quality and u might have to squint a little to tell but the player is obviosly a MEC soldier on a MEC team with a RED nametag and NOT on the HUD map listed as either. Sorry about the quality and graininess but Karkands dusty anyway so u understand.

LEt me know if you have expeirenced this issue at all Im curious to see if its a hack or what. I was playing on an unmodded server, and one that was ranked as well. You can see the issue and problems this could cause if anyone could bpout a ringer on a ranked server on the opposite team and cause the opponents to get TKs for legitamate errors ont the freindly sides part.

1st pic - A picture of the area and chat log as well as a player nearby who saw the same thing I did- The player isent visible its just to show that the team is indeed MEC and listed as freindlys as well as being on my HUD/MINIMAP

2nd Pic - SHows the player, named STUDDEDASS. He is in MEC Camo and is a Medic. again sorry fro the quality but you can tell he is deffinetly a MEC soldier and NOT visible on the MINIMAP. The player ITCHIO from pic 1 is offscreen but his nametag is visible as such.

3rd Pic - SHows the player STUDDEDASS running past several players in zoomed in mode. HE is still not on the HUD and still has a red nametag as if he were unfreindly hostile.

yea its prob a glitch..ive seen it many times..but i dont see what the first pic has to do with this ...thread

and i believe that if u shoot him and hit him ull see the yellow crosshairs indicating that u hit him and then when he diesl...it counts as a tk....but im not sure if thats waht i remember but i think thats waht happens

Once, I was playing as China in Dragon valley and a blackhawk was parked on one of the silos at the Chinese Airport. It was not on the minimap and the player flying it had a red nametag.
I was the pilot in the chinese attack chopper and my friend was gunner. We were both in voice communication with each other. He told me it was friendly, but my eyes told me to shoot since it had a red tag. So I did.
Low and behold, it was friendly. The chinese guy I killed stole it from the US carrier.

EA says they can't recreate this bug so they can't fix it. I say BS. Its happened so many times to so many people someone at EA must have seen this.

What ****es me off is BF2 was delayed for so long so they "could get it right" but all i've seen is crap. Its pretty and all, but crap.

Look .. I know this kind of bug is REALLY hard to fix .. cause .. a bug that occurs sometimes .. and not allways is hard to detect .. if you we're a programmer and had a little clue about programing this kind of project .. you would understand .. that if you cant find a cause .. you cant find a bug .. thrust me i know !!! .. I've exeprienced this kind of unusual behaviors many times and I've came across this kind of bug double many times .. So if they say .. We cant reprocude the bug .. We cant fix it .. you should understand it like .. We cannot find the exact same conditions to reproduce the bug every possible time ! Cause when they do that .. trust me they will fix it .. in three monts you can reprograme a lot of stuff .. maybe they/we're lucky enough to find the conditions to fix it in the next patch .. let's just keep our fingers crossed !

and If I was @ EA / DICE .. i would probably extend my BETA testing crew .. for about 50 servers and 3200 users (50 servers *64 users)

I bet my ass this will happen on Expansion pack 2 !

This is what is most pathetic about the problem. I have been a software developer for years and have never had a bug I couldn't track down. Sure, it may be hard to re-create, but that's when you have to start crawling through the code line by line until you figure out where the logic is broken. That Dice cannot find the problem and fix it is a prime example of code-bloat (e.g. unmanageable code).
