Well news flash im not in the US, and im not an Aussie either... i just reside in australia cause its a free country that kicks ass, no where id rather live in the world. Y'know, you would have done everyone in this thread a favor by not clicking on it in the first place. Something tells me you'll be back to defend you opinion though. 1st, I would like to say, you are Right! It is HIS opinion. I guess I didn't word the sentence correctly. I should have said it meant NOTHING to me. I'm sure I have read other post by him where I agreed totally with his opinion. It's just irritating to read ALL the threads about people who whine & complain & still play the game. But to start a thread with that much contempt for someone (EA/DICE), that they would start a post about Rioting is beyond me. (Maybe its all this BS with the Katrina & Louisiana thats been plastered all over the News) He may have been just "joking", but there really is no humor in that.
2nd, If you would have comprehended that sentence that you quoted, I didn't name call anybody & I called the THREAD topic ignorant.
3rd, Not sure where you are from, but I have worked hard my whole life. Payed Lots of taxes. Why? So we can have a technology advance Military to where we don't get pushed around & CAN live FREE. To also help out the people of other countries who don't have the resources to fight off aggressors & bullies. And the countries who "Laugh at the US of A" knowing full well that the US of A will help out if they ARE being threatened. I just wonder how many "Countries" there woould actually be today if the US wasn't a super power? Hmmmmm .. You just keep right on laughing there!

Hey thats what forums are for expressing your opinion... I probably should have left the word riot out, but come on do you think a protest against ea would not end in a riot hehehehe? Thousands of people have beef with EA, simply because they can never deliver anything they promise.

Yeh ok ppl have lives, but this is a game.. games require some level of commitment from the player otherwise whats the point? If you want a game without ranks or levels go play CS or something similar doom3 perhaps?

On the same token, i hate Vivendi Universial for what they did to my beloved Tribes series and swore never to buy anything they publish again (tribes vengance got 1 minor patch for a game that was seriously flawed on release and after starting another patch they canned it a week or so from completion) but they published HL2 and i wanted the game so sadly i had to part with money to them... grrr! As much as i would like to boycot EA completely they have a title that i love so so much the BF Series. There is NO other game like it out there.

Anyways... all is good :P


But i still wanna go play skermish in the EA head office and disrupt them at least then we have a JUSTIFIED reason as to why their support sux nuts hehehe.

i was all ready to make another post then i read what everyone else said and reaized i didnt have to say much. the fact that i have spent time and effort on this game is why it means something to me, ea made a game that, with hard work you could earn things. they set a long-term goal in the game that didnt just end after the mission you were currently playing ended. that was what was different about battlefield and what alot of people liked. then its all changed and suddenly, the guy with 30k isnt all that different than someone with 5k. if the ranking system had never been put in the game then none of this would matter. unfortunatly it is there, and was a goal for some of us, some of us were doing pretty well at it then it was taken away. thats where i'm coming from, i dont play to just screw off, the teamwork/individual work was what made me enjoy my time spent playing the game.

its almost like they said "ok well stat padders are annoying, so we're going to get rid of them just by giving them exactly what they want."
