the mistake you take there overkill is talking aobut real life wepaons, this is battlefeild real life doesn't come in to it, if it did then the medic m16 would be just as powerful as the assualt m16 and the medic ak would be as powerful as the assault ak which they aren't.

As for the jackhammer im not talking that close range. Basically in a nutshell no matter what situation your in you can whoop serious ass which the g36c and in my view it by far the best gun in the game.

I have everything but the L85, but have picked it up enough to know it's not for me. I'd say overall the G36C is the best gun in the game (outside of the M24). It's accurate enough for long range kills and has a fast rate of fire for when things get upclose and personal. Keep in mind, if you're facing an armored opponent, you better be unloading on his head.

With all the pub players going G36, and a bunch of my clanmates going L85, I held off and unlocked guns that helped the squad, jackhammer, pkm, etc.. so that I'd play those classes more.

With the 3 new unlocks post-patch, I finally spent one on this gun, and WOW. Can tap the fire button without changing fire modes and drop guys at long range, can pull up the iron sights and spray a clip at a medium distance target and drop him, and up close the gun is pure nasty. Got vet SO with it on Mashtur city yesterday

IMO the gun has to be one of the top overall weapons in the game...

G36C has a single-shot mode? That's funny, I've never found it necessary to switch, even when I'm sniping people from a couple hundred meters.

AMEN, thats why i love the gun so much as well, i never ever use anything but auto mode, even at sniper distances it seems so accurate with 3 or 4 shot bursts i wish i would have unlocked it first instead of 3rd. The lack of recoil is great but the high rate of fire and fast pullout and reload times make this a formidable weapon. Its also the only automatic gun i can shoot accuractly while standing at distance and obviously the spec-ops is a very usefull class anyway. (jack of all trades)

where the g36 owns is when you fire it bursts...single shot its the same as the m4...great weapon.

@topicstarter, you probably can't work with the gun.

It's a bit more powerfull then every other spec ops weapon, acuracy is better and it has a very low recoil, put those three together and you have a masterpiece, wich the weapon is.

Learn to use the iron sight on the weapon, those are as good as those red laser dots, you say

In terms of accuracy it's virtually the same as the other Spec Ops guns on single shot, and probably worse than M4 and AK74U since you don't get the simple red dot to use for aiming.

All of the pistols are exactly the same.

Ditto was in reference to the part about how if i want to be medic, i'll usually be on MEC since i prefer the AK to the US standard issue gun. I hate the 3 burst shot. I hardly need to bust out the pistol since i usually just kill with the main gun. Never notice any diff in power between the pistols.

G36C is hands down the most accurate gun in the game.
Additionally, when considering how BF:2 players, most accurate means most kills which equals most powerful or "best"

I agree I unlocked it a while ago. I don't really like it that much. I like the second Assualt weapon more.
