Major flaw, I felt, is that it's a 'been there, done that' map

I loved Wake in BF42 and DC

But somehow this one doesn't convince me.. an original islandmap would've been better I think

and along with a flyboy fanmap, an urban map should have been released.. that would've really made my day

Its cool i just think there is to many tanks on the island it seemed like no matter where i went there was a tank.

i dont hate it, but i do try to avoid it. as soon as i read they remade it, i thought... been there done that. time to move on. not go back to old maps. sucks coz practly every server in my country now constanly plays it :|

Yeah it's a quality edition to the map list. Mainly because there isn't another map like it yet on BF2 (at least officially). Can't understand the people asking for another urban map. We've got Mashtuur, Karkand and Sharqi alrealdy but, up until Wake, no island/atoll map.

I can underatand why 1942 player aren't so keen, though. Maybe they should of made a new island map.

Oh well, there's always 1.04

Apply ur filters.

The filters don't work for me in the new patch in fact the browser doesn't work at all, if i fire up bf2 then it finds servers when i go too multiplayer but if i hot update server list or try and search by map it finds no servers and the only way i can find servers again is too quit out fire up bf2 again and hit multiplayer.

Its seriously annoying.

It seems a little unfair though. As a US Pilot in the game I pretty much own all AA Placements and can dogfight an J10 ace with backup (when someone is following me and aiming at me.)

I usually rack up at leat a 40, and when more people are around I can hit almost 100.

I'm just saying I feel sorry for all those ground troops have been squashed by 2 illongated melons that explode (bombs.)
