Then I don't understand how you cease to notice that cover is required alot more in this than BF2. But I agree the game is obviously too easy.

please! did i even say that that was my view? READ look i dont know how crap you are in bf2 but there is no significantly increased need to use cover in COD2 - neither is cover any less important in bf2... where on earth did you get those ideas.... and if you agree the game is easier then why is cover required MORE than in bf2 huh?

essentially you MAY use cover more frequently purely because you are squashed into a claustrophobically linear map crammed with bots and no flanking or evasion options (and the crouch, prone, stand controls are irratatingly geared for the "popup") - so in that sense of course your gonna use cover - nowhere to run - but you think you wouldnt be doing that in a crammed bf2 map?

look if you like bunny hopping and sprinting into no mans land then thats nice - just dont be quick to jump to hasty generalized conclusions - at the end of the day cover is going to stop bullets regardless of what game you are in...

its nice to see you took the time to reply, stupid to note that the initial post was drawing comparisons between COD2 and BF2 but we'll let the baby have its bottle.

Ofcourse... you uninstalled it. Well reinstall it if your so confident. Run fraps, and make a video. lol.

oh btw, as glasseye said, it's a singleplayer mission. And this has a story to it, or lets say a much deeper one, than bf2.

Well, you never said it directly but you still said something sarcastic like "you don't need to use cover in BF2 (lol)" Well...in comparison to COD2 you practically don't...in many. Of course its still smart to use cover...but in most situations in COD2 if you run in the open you will die within seconds. Its not like that in BF2.
and if you agree the game is easier then why is cover required MORE than in bf2 huh?
How much cover is needed does not determine how hard the game is. Its easy for me because its so easy to kill the enemy...not much strategy needed. You just shoot them and move in, even on vetran mode.

Actually flanking is possible...ive done it quite a few times...and plus you do it as part of the game normally. It was even more possible to flank in COD1 on certain maps, and im sure it will be the same in COD2 for some maps. However it is not as possible as in BF2, but they make it linear in COD like that on purpose. Its the style of the game. If you don't like it, thats YOUR opinion.

Well duh....I never said cover dosn't help you in other games. But since in COD where your going up against a large amount of infantry at once in small-medium area, cover is more required. Just try running out in the open towards the enemy on the part by the artillery...or right after that...or in most other parts of the game.

However, in Project Reality Mini-Mod cover is needed MUCH MUCH more since you are killed in just a few bullets. (unlike BF2 with most guns) plus PRMM has bleeding. The stupidest thing you could ever do is run out in the open...or try and run-and-gun.

O M G - compared with COD2 you practically dont use cover? - we got a freakin monkey sitting at a keyboard here

if you run out in the open on kharkand in the middle of a firefight - do you not die in seconds? and i'm sorry but in that demo in veteran mode you can freakin smg charge most of the way... and i'm sorry there is not much strategy in picking 1 of 2 choices of cover and popping up and down until you move your mouse on their head - hahaha and the only flanking you do in COD is the second option to the same destination...

as for the bunnyhopping i just thought thats what u do if you cant do the things in the parts mentioned - just reinstalled demo - charge at arty? done it. after that? done it. machine gun? charge round horribly linear sidestreet - done it. you have to be seriously unco-ordinated to not find this demo stale, uninteresting and terribly predictable

fanboy it up as much as you want m8 it dosn't change the fact that this game will suck major monkeyballs (okokok thats harsh it will just become another mediocre title that fades into obscurity)

Right....and how old are you...calling me a monkey? Is that some failed attempt at a flame, than only makes you look more immature?
if you run out in the open on kharkand in the middle of a firefight - do you not die in seconds?
It depends on where and who/whats involved. In most instances you can, though.

When you SMG charge your crosshairs dissapear and your bullets hit like 4-7 feet away from eachother. SMG charging is not possible unless you stop moving, in which you would want to take cover...unless your a "monkey" lol...
hahaha and the only flanking you do in COD is the second option to the same destination...
Well it is possible in some areas. While it is quite linear ive pulled it off a few times.

Have you apparently not noticed how far apart the rounds go when running? And may I ask how I am "burnt" from you calling me a....monkey.....

I hope the definitions on opinion at least helped your poor soul. By the way you never told me your age.
