i like the patch to an extent...

i like everything that it has introduced, but... i like the idea that the rank requirement points were lowered, but i think they were lowered TOO far... now all you see is people with sergeant ranks and up... having a high rank used to be like having super powers cuz you had weapons that noone else had... and now everyone has them...

and to quote the movie "The Incredibles" haha

points have nothing to do with skill... therefore, I think the unlock
weapons are a joke in the first place.. My 30 bucks is just as
good as yours.. All the weps should be available from day one..

let all the stat geeks fight over the fake badges and awards or
something, but dont give them better weapons than me... hell.

The unlocks are NOT better weapons, they are just alternative weapons. After the novelty of the unlock wears off, go back to the default one and you will see it has distinct advantages over the unlock (every unlock) This was the way it was designed, the same as awards something to "earn" not to give you an advantage.

All irrelevant now due to the much lower ranks, and TBH i dont care either way :) I love the patch and give it a score of 9.5 out of 10 and thats only due to the few tiny bugs that were added (will be hotfixed no doubt) I will fully admit to not reading most posts in this thread as i'm sure the haters will still be out in force complaining about it, but IMHO its far better then i imagined it would be, they obviously put a lot of work into this patch (for a change )

I am quite happy with the patch, BUT the redtag bug is indeed ocurring now much more often (to me) than before. I was very frustrated yesterday (had 3 Tks, 3 punishements in a single round).

I love what you do for me, TOYOTA! err ... i mean EA.

I love the incentive to blow the hell out of the commanders toys! Not so many arty's rainning down! i've also seen and been involved in a lot of good firefights...not over the flag but over the arty....die pussay commanders!!!

Also a lot more teamwork goining on now too....i love the fact that teams must secure the area and not just sit in a BH with a wrench up their ass.

I have experienced the tag problem once which i never saw in 1.02. oh well...

I think it's great. I don't get killed when I brush against a moving vehicle, yes a full speed impact will kill you. The wheeled vehicles work much better. Having to disembark from a BH and secure the area, and "The fact is the Patch was sh*t !!!!!!" is your opinion, not a fact. Also most people are here because they have an issue, how 'bout the thousands that aren't here and don't have issues. That's like going to a mechanic and saying every car in the lot is crap becuase it's there being repaired.

Actually it pretty much is just you and about 20 other people, lol. Its great to see so many more people that LIKE this patch then the mindless kiddies that hate for no reason. I cant rememeber the last time there was 80% positive posts in this forum, probably 90% for the patch.

Good job EA/DICE you have pleased the masses and even the haters have very lame arguments againt it :laugh:
