Still having problems with the badges again, cant seem to get Veteran ones now, Medic and Anti tank, hit requirements but nada....

Yes, it was 50 points before the double for the win. I have earned the required points at least a dozen times but no commander badge. To make things even more odd, I got my explosives badge on one of the servers that won't give up the commnader badge.

And for some reason, I can't find my screenshot folder so I will have to cap an image using fraps to demonstrate.

i dunno if you guys asked about this before but i think i should of gotten alot, or atleast some awards/medals. it seems like ever since the 1.3 patch came out, i havn't gotten anything. my overall stats went up but since that. and im making all the requirements and kicking ass in the game. just seems a bit strange.

Shamus, in case you hadn't looked for any screenshots before, the folder is in the My Documents area. It took me a while to find it the first time.

It says you need 20,000 and all Basic badges for First Segeant, Yet i have 27,303 All Basic Badges + Veterans and iam still a Master Sergeant can someone please explain this to me thanks (:

My Stats.

If you hit 20,000 global points before recieving the requisite basic badges, BF2 assigns you the rank of Master Sgt. You will never attain the rank of First Sgt. in this event.

Those who hit 20,000 global points after recieving the requisite basic badges are assigned the rank of First Sgt.

Regardless, they are the same rank because both are E8's.

Just posting to say that I can confirm the 5000 for staff sargent. I had 5066 and was wondering what was going on, but finnally after another whole round, and then waiting and jumping onto an EA server I have staff sargent with 5192 points.

any update on this? Meaning has there been an "official" release of all the new requirements for awards/medals/ribbons, that are marginally correct?

I been going for my vet badges which I know that they have cut the hourly requirements for them drastically.

Plus I've noticed alot of people with this problem, since updating to the .03 patch my rank status bar has not move one iota, although the score does keep climbing.

I have had some problems with getting the vet badges aswell, but found out, by re-installing BF2 then installing patch v1.03, i got my vet badge for command on the first round on ranked server.:)

I have the problem where the progress to next rank bar now stays empty after installing the patch, i think - as a sgt with 3,140points that anyone with over 25,000 needs to get a life!

if u know the score u need for promotion who cares what the progress bar ready

and i am soon to have no life about 23000 points

I have no progress bar as well but Im about to break 50,000 points tonight. LOL I do have a life. ITS BATTLEFIELD. I eat it, I sleep it, I drink it. :laugh: :p

I am over 2500 points and still a lance jack, is there a delay in updates or do i have to have all the badges to progress????
