1gig cap? that's ridiculous. I have a 1mb ADSL for £20 uncapped.
No wayto reduce the size though, most of it is the map and new artwork for BFHQ.

^^^ im not complaining, but was there no way to make the patch smaller for dl??? I am only on a 1GB dl plan at the moment, and i dont want to waste 180 MB just on the patch. Is there anyone that can compress it or has???

A documented test carried out a few months ago when the game was released showed that BF2 utilised just over 40MB of data throughput in 60 minutes of play.

i cant afford it by my self its $65 per month ($38 US) and yea.. im saving for a car... but ill get there eventually, with the plan...

Dude ... Internet access is more important than a car! If you kill someone in the car, you can go to jail. If you kill someone with your Internet connection, they can respawn!

Maybe so, but yea 40MB and hour sounds about right, thats what i get, but i dont think that included VOIP does it? As sometimes i get alot more traffic in the hour than that.

But even the "unlimited plan" has a 12GB cap on it.. so that kinda sucks, but thats still 12 times better than mine, lol.
