I played a couple of rounds tonight, but didn't get jack. When do you get the promotions? Is it right in game as you start, or was there a little time lag?

i started our Sergeant, 28,678 points, now i am first sergeant, 28,825 points.

i have all unlocks except for PKM ( support unlock )

had around 22k points and now a master sergeant. All but one unlock.

Ditto. The only rifle I didn't unlock was the Jackhammer (= engineer).

Corporal to master sergeant is a bit drastic imo. I had expected to jump one or two ranks.

EDIT Funneh coincidence: I am also a master sergeant on this forum.

I still have yet to get a promotion... I've played around 5 rounds now with no notification of a promotion. I got the mid and far east ribbons though. Why no promotion?

I was a Lance Corporal with about 5500 points pre-patch. Now I'm only a corporal. By the looks of other people's points and ranks, shouldn't I be a seargeant, too?

Me too..played about 10 rounds and have only gotten the Middle East Service Ribbon maybe the stat servers need to catch up

I got the Good Conduct ribbon, I only have about 138 hours play time and not the 250 it used to be.

The ranks, badges and medals seem too easy now...

Over a couple of hours I went from Sgt with approx 37000+ pts to 38000+ pts. During this period I received:

Staff Sgt
Gunnery Sgt
Master Sgt
Three weapon unlocks
Veteran Resupply
Veteran Engineer Combat
Veteran Spec Ops
Expert Spec Ops
Good Conduct Medal

I am on 17,000 global. Which was Corporal, and I was only 30 per cent towards Sergeant.

In 15 seconds, I got :

Sergeant
Staff Sergeant
Gunnery Sergeant

And am already 78% towards the next rank of First Sergeant (I have every basic badge.)

I have 5 unlocks (Spec Ops, Assault, Anti-Tank, Sniper and Medic).

I also got the Middle East Ribbon.

Sargeant at 36,800 pre-patch
after patch - Master Sargeant - got 3 unlocks
looks like next rank judging by the leaderboard icons is at 50k - Master Gunnery Sargeant. That will yield the final unlock.
