For one the saw sounds like ass. Maybe they changed the sound of when your in a jet or helicopter and the alarm goes off.

you know what would just be a funny little thing....

If when you get out of a vehicle it does that double chirp of a car alarm being set. That would just be funny to see/hear...imagine coming up on a guy in a tank and using him for cover only when he gets out to do something the tank chirps :)

I'm hearing alot of talk about the new patch and all the great things that it will have. I know many of you know this already but I have not seen many people talk much about it. One thing that I thought was pretty cool was the "new sounds" in the patch. Info below!

1.03 contains a lot of new fixes and adjustments. We are given new sounds ( T98, MEC & China Jeep and new canon sound for the tanks. )

I don't thnk it is a JET turbine, but it is a turbine engine. Probably sounds like a helicopter engine.

I'd love the bullets to whistle while they travel through the air. Somehow like the welcoming German MG 42's in the movie Saving Private Ryan when the allied troops landed on Omaha Beach.
The soundeffects in that movie were extremely well done, and were very realistic. What impressed me the most were the thousends of bullets literally cutting through the air, making a noise for which I do not have the right descriptive words...
Imagine being under heavy MG fire, and the air above you is being torn apart. That would scare the hell out of me, and could give BF2 an extra portion of tension...
