1.03 Adds NEW Sounds

I'm hearing alot of talk about the new patch and all the great things that it will have. I know many of you know this already but I have not seen many people talk much about it. One thing that I thought was pretty cool was the "new sounds" in the patch. Info below!

1.03 contains a lot of new fixes and adjustments. We are given new sounds ( T98, MEC & China Jeep and new canon sound for the tanks. )

I'm not sure, I think the sounds are fine but maybe they made them better?

I'd have liked to see a new M249 SAW sound. It sounds like hell. Nothing close to the way they did it in America's Army which of course is developed by the army. The SMGs have pretty lame sounds too.

I'm not sure, I think the sounds are fine but maybe they made them better?

hopefully theyve fixed the crackly sound as the tank turret turns... maybe i have a corrupt sample but there is definately a very faint crackle in the sound.

that would be sweet if the tanks made an oinking sound when fired....:)

Im lookin forward to the new fixes and changes, just hopefully the patch won't be more of a problem then a fix

i wish the bullets made sound as the moved...at the moment the only make a sound on impact.

To me, the most satisfying gun sound is that of the AK-*** series of weapons. :nod:

Yes. They will either add the new sound files with a new name (usually by appending a 01 to the new file name) or they will add the new sounds by overwriting the original sound files.
