We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
So they did listen to us when we ranted and raved about not being able to take fast movers down with the stingers. This is the feature I will enjoy most.
The only problem with no tk by artie is now commanders have NO recourse on killing his own team mates. I mean, I can see a flag being fought over and commanders dropping artie without thinking , humm I will kill my guys.. Now they will be like f- it Ill get the points and no - points.. Bombs away.

I'm looking forward to all of the announced changes EXCEPT the castration of the Blackhawk. First off, all the whiners out there need to realize that properly flown (NOE..not high and slow like most people fly them), a Blackhawk could OWN anything in the game with the exception of AA and tanks. I've seen first hand what a couple of minis can do to most hardware, and anyone who was is foolish enough to draw their fire would be signing their own death certificate! YES, they could easily take most flags! I won't even go into how bad a MH-60L "DAP"..Defensive Armed Penetrator: http://www.specialoperations.com/Avi...k/default.html) would F things up for the whiners.
If they wanted to cut down on the "whoring" and make things more realistic, they should have compensated for the change by making the Blackhawk capable of carrying a full load (4 Crew + 11 Pax = 15), so they could assume a more realistic transport mode. They'd be able to make 2 drops of pax and head back to base. BUT, then there'd be MORE whining about the Blackhawks, because they'd STILL be capping all the flags!
Having said all this, I still intend to fly whenever I get the chance because I really have never cared about the points. For me, it's all about the joy of flying. I just hope there are enough of you out there that will understand the "new" role of the Blackhawk and still be willing to hop in for a ride to your/our next objective.
I don't know what all this crying about the BH is for... all it takes is a good pilot to hover and circle the flag blowing everyone away first - then have 4-5 people jump out and cap the flag (which won't take a but a few seconds) then hop back in.
I am not going to say I like or dislike anything about the upcoming patch until I get to see how it works in game. I can say I like the new icon in the minimap for supplies...but what if they screwed it up and the icon takes up half the map? Or it is no where near where it drops? Poor example - but you get the idea of what I am saying.
In a perfect world the patch will have everything they say it will - and it will work correctly. Just look at what they said the game would have/do when it came out. Don't get me wrong - I love the game, and I will keep playing it - with or without the patch. I am just saying it seems pretty stupid to have this thread speculating on something that is not even out yet.

Wow. I could just see 8+ engineers in there repairing. Now the BH can withstand a direct kamakaze hit from another heli or jet. ROFL

Hey! That sounds good to me, but I think the proper mix would be 9 engineers and 6 medics!
Seriously though, I think they could probably take that into account and make it so only one engineer and one medic could function while mounted (<-- I said mounted LOL) but, since I'm sure they're never going to do anything like that, it's a moot point.
