Yep. I expect to see plenty of complaints after the patch is release about this, as it's completely stupid. It's what happens when you dumb down a game because of a handful of people whining. Of course, it wouldn't be that hard to apply it to just helicopters either, which would be perfectly fine, but EVERY vehicle is definately overboard as tank gunners, humvee gunners/passengers, DPV/FAV passengers....basically anyone who isn't a dang driver in a vehicle, is getting screwed over in this patch when it comes to flag caps.

For me it has way more positive changes than negative :) I know if you actually are satisfied about the products and don't complain about every small mistake in a game you're a corporate fanboy.

Well, it's not like you need him to leave. You could always wait for the flag, I mean, it's not like a tank alone can't defend itself for a few seconds.

Anyhow, reguarding the tank, I do agree, but I see more benefits than losses. No more Hummers rushing from point to point like retarded maniacs (they're easy targets though), let alone BHs (these aren't and spare me the usual "OMGWTFBBQURANOOBI4MT3H1337H4X0R" posts).

I'm looking forward to the patch, mostly due to the no more BH whoring, the rank "easifying" (I'm a Sargeant, but I stopped playing intensively right after I got fed up with the unbalance, so maybe now I'll have less work getting unlocks and enjoy the game more) wanting to replay Wake Island and seeing if they improved any of the weapons (G3 needs to be more accurate and I swear to God, if you even DARE say as much as "OMGWTF I SNIEP WIV DA G3 U NOOB" I'll slap you with the biggest, meanest table of weapon deviation values in your face so hard you'll be walking with your head on a 45º angle for the rest of your life).

Now with the Blackhawks useless its going to be a more ground fighting sort of game i dont want that, dont get me wrong i love ground fighting ****ing hate most vehicals but i thought the exapansion is supposed to be the firefighting game not this BF2 but i still dont mind the patch, want the map.:)

It seems like you're the one who's whining.. what's the problem with having to get out of the vehicle to capture a flag? the humvee passengers are completely useless anyway (having a very limited FOV, and being extremely vulnerable) and the gunners - well, just take cover by the vehicle. Besides, a loaded humvee is just as effective as a Blackhawk in flag capturing; Hopefully the new patch will restore vehicles to their original roles - transportation.

has anytihng actually been confirmed about the ranking system in the new patch? Or is it all just rumours about them making go up a rank easier?

It would be great if i found i only had a couple od thousand to go to my next rank :)

They can stay in the tank and do that they just want get flag points

I think this is a good idea you cant raise a flag sitting in a tank/chopper or anything else, well maybe you could in a humvee :laugh:

That is probably my favorite part. No more tanks/hummers/apcs driving around every flag on Strike to cap one in the back. I love it.

I don't think there is anything not to like about the patch...at least from everything I've seen so far.

How can you say that? Doesen't say anything about that do it?

And to all off us, the article states at the end and much much more. That is if not bull a lot of things so itæs a bit early to start a poll i think.
