How much have people spent (U.S $$$) on or will soon be spending on system upgrades for BF2? I just spent $220 on 2gigs of ram and $60 on a laser mouse. Of course this will help in other games, but I'm buying it primarily for BF2.

I didnt upgrade JUST for bf2, but because my system was starting to show age..
Old system: AMD Athlon +2400. 512mb 133 ram. crappy ECS motherboard with x4/AGP Ati 9600xt. Soundblaster Live 5.1 sound.
$250 - ATi X850pro
$350 - AMD 64 +3000, Gigabyte K8 motherboard, 1 Gig of Corsair Valueselect ram @ 400 ddr.
$35.00 - Refurbished from creative Audigy 2 Soundcard.
$635 total..
Plays on high settings @ about 60fps
Plays any other game on highest settings.Comment

i got new matherboard K8nxp-9 (nforce4 ultra,wlan PCI card included,dps)
AMD 64 3500+
PS tagan i-Xeye 460 W
6800 GT Leadtek
1 gb od G.E.I.L. ram
Now i am waiting fora 2 disk 80 gb for RAID 0, and another stick of 1 gb ram.Comment

Well i upgraded my ram to a Gig and a quarter for the load times was bugging me.
I will be replacing my Athlon 1700 with a Sempron 2800 tomorrow. I'll also replace my Geforce FX 5200 when i sell my old computer parts to make my next upgrade affortable.Comment

I spent 50 bucks on a extra 256mg of RAM helped but didnt do to much.
Now on the 9th my alienware will be in my room and I will be gaming all night long!!!
I feel lucky. 3000 bucks of gaming power for free :)Comment

and then £400 on my monitors
dual viewsonic 3ms
but then again this wasnt JUST for bf2, admitedly i did have a few next gen games in mind tooooComment

i haven't spent a penny as yet but i am about too buy a new graphics card primarily to run bf2 im getting a 6800GT 256MB, im also going too buy another 1gb of ram before too long. So my system specs WILL be :_
p4 2.53ghz 2gb pc3200 corsair spankey stuff 4 x 512mb 1 x 80gb 1 x 250gb ata133 7200rpm hdds sound blaster audigy 2 DTS 7.1 speakers and a LG1980U 19" TFT :)
My new graphics card should cost me about £180 there normally 215 + VAQT but i'll be getting mine through work :PComment
