I see a blue circle with yellow star in the middle, and red circles with a lightning bolt in the middle. What are those? Thanks.
I don't know what two things on the mini map are

Yellow star = Commander.
Lighting Bolt = Team mate needs reviving.

yeah, the red circle confused me for ages on the demo, i didn't make the connection.
It was mainly because the red dot was appearing on a flag icon, i was like wtf happened to the flag! lol

Thanks. I really wish they would include info like that in the manual.

the manual is sh!te. its quite possibly the worst manual in the world, if im brutally honest. But then again you learn alot from ingame, from that annoying man. but there still is stuff that is left out that you need to find out yourself, which is a stupid thing.

Re: I don't know what two things on the mini map are
While we are on the subject, what does it mean when on the mini map the people on your own team have a red circle encompassing their little dot?
Does this mean that they have spotted enemy soldiers on the move? If so, then what is different from this to when enemy soldiers are spotted and they actually appear in red on the minimap?
If there are different ways to spot a soldier/tank etc other than using the main radio and spotting/right clicking for the appropriate one, what are they? Which ways are the best, for letting your team have the most information possible?

I still dont know what the red spawn points mean on the spawn screen, its either too many people spawning at once or its being attacked, like in BFVietnam.

that means you are playing medic/support and they have low ammo/health.While we are on the subject, what does it mean when on the mini map the people on your own team have a red circle encompassing their little dot?

dont spot>rightclick just click the "enemy spotted" on an enemy and his icon will appear in the mini map so you can track his movements. If there are different ways to spot a soldier/tank etc other than using the main radio and spotting/right clicking for the appropriate one, what are they? No, i think it just means there are to many people spawning there and you have to wait a little.

Can you punctuate this, because I am having trouble getting whether you mean:Originally posted by VeNg3nCe^dont spot>rightclick just click the "enemy spotted" on an enemy and his icon will appear in the mini map so you can track his movements.
Don't... Just click the enenmy spotted...
or
something else.
:)
EDIT: Are you just saying that right clicking and selecting the appropriate weapon/vehicle is a waste of time, when 'spotting enemy soldier' does the same, in the way of showing them on the map?

Re: I don't know what two things on the mini map are
He means, don't press Q to bring up the commo-rose and then right click to select the type of enemy (apc/armour/soldier etc). Instead press Q to bring up the commo-rose and just left click Enemy Spotted and it will automatically select the correct type of enemy and display the appropriate message.Originally posted by bigbossmattCan you punctuate this, because I am having trouble getting whether you mean:

Re: I don't know what two things on the mini map are
I think he's saying don't use the rightclick/manual selection for spotting. Personally, I was mad when I found out you could do this. I thought it was a genius system and people couldn't make stuff up. Turns out you can spot a boat right in the middle of dry land. I liked it better when I thought if someone spotted something, it was there. :)Originally posted by bigbossmattCan you punctuate this, because I am having trouble getting whether you mean:
