I once got 100 points in Karkand while purely USMC kit. No vehicles either ^_^. That was like one time though. I really suck with it lately. Sniper is fun but you gota play it often to get real good at it.

Aim for the heads.

Ok: first I use the M95 and not the 24.

There is most definitely travel time.
There is not any major bullet drop.
Prone or at least not moving the scope really fast does, in fact, improve your accuracy. I'd say proning makes the shot, not the scope, 'steady' faster.

I just played with the m24 some more. Right off I got one quick kill, then it was 5-6 misses on prone enemy. I guess I just don't have the eyesight required to use it.
