Thank's for this, been waiting for a while for the full release of patch info.

This isn't the full 140 bullet point patch list, but rather a pre-patch teaser. Actually this is the 3rd one that I'm aware of.

Of course there was also the latest dev chat as well that answered some more questions about the patch.

Hopefully we'll get the patch soon.

You think the patch will come out AFTER BF2:SF??? They did say "days"...many people feel like it'll be the first week of October.

Unfortuately "days" could also mean 29 days, which techincally is less than a month (except Feburary).

days can mean any number of things. days can be 30, 60, 365. no matter. you never know with EA anyways. but valve is much worse.. much worse.

That would be kewl to knife the gunner of a tank!!!
Unfortuately throwing a "pinapple" (that's a very old term for grenade from WWI), into the open hatch won't kill the driver. The driver doesn't actually exist like he does when driving a HUMVEE or buggy inside the vehicle. You do, however, do 50% damage with a single AT rocket when you shoot into the hole.

It wouldn't have to actually hit the driver to kill him. They could probably manage to work it out so that after the grenade went off inside the tank it would send some sort of "kill command" to anyone within. He wouldn't actually have to be damaged personally.

this is awesome. They went over the line. Lots of great new stuff. I like how no tk from atilery anymore. Good stuff ea! Just for this I shall buy your expansion!
