nothing wrong with stats, but some only play for stats & IMO that makes the game no fun, & no teamwork as allmost any noob will agree vanilla is empty with teamwork.

play for fun geez, not like those stats are worth more than ego anyway

I play for fun, but I do check stats every now and again if I have a few good rounds (which is rare for me). My stats are terrible :laugh: I didn't think I was that bad, but I have a laugh about it.

I usually find grabbing a car on Jallaallalaabad and running people over is alot of fun....I mess around with that a bit. But you can't tell me it doesn't look hilarious when some poor guy flys over the bonnet of your car, especially when he has no idea what happened. I do feel sorry for the people I run over countless times in a row though, they must get annoyed :laugh:

I never used to join squads much, some people get a bit too serious about it if you do something wrong, even if it was an accident But lately i've been joining squads alot more. Most of the people have been good fun and welcoming, even if you arent the best player.

All games I play are played for fun,If it wasnt for fun then i should be gettin paid to play,as it would seem like a job if there is no FUN factor there.

I play for fun and for points.
I want to rank up and get more badges etc.
Sometimes I play just to get e certain award but these times are rare.
Having fun depends on the server I'm playing on.
If I get a decent squad going and have teammates that actually try to win the round then I have fun.
If I don't have fun on the server I leave and search for another one.
Last time I played, I tried 4 servers but on every server I was like the only one trying to get a flag while my whole team got raped. That wasn't fun and I quit gaming that day.
I have the most fun playing together with my clan mates.

some people say it's all about points thats why its has so many players,but css has maybe more and there is no point or awards so most bf2 players are there for fun.

I do like to know i've owned in a round but if you do it in a easy way like tank all the time it's not as good fun as a good ambush with a squad that talks to each other :salute:

Don't play BF2 much anymore (2142) but I definately play it for fun. It's fun playing with the engy's shotgun on infantry only karkand and people have no idea what weapon that is lol :)

CSS has more? i dont think so, bf2 is a low on xifre cause alot are tryn out the new COD4.

alot do play for fun, alot also are stat whores, again nothing wrong with stats, there nice, but playin only for stats isnt good

the most fun i have had,

Sitting behind the spawn of a two seater plane at the enemy airfield, holding a SRAW blowing away jets as their getting ready to take off. I love ruining the line system.

Was playing on a server with 666RA or whatever his name is, he is near the top of the stats table anyway.

It was a 24/7 mashtuur server. He never left the US team. Always was in the blackhawk. Rarely got more than 4 kills per round with many more deaths but still got around 200 points a round.

I imagine its the same for all the people at the top of the stat board. They cant be having fun. They are playing to try and beat each other and not the other team in the game. The only way they can stay up there is to stat whore.

Oh i must also mention, MEC won pretty much every round

I've seen these "Blackhawk douches" in action. They ride in the Blackhawk and chuck grenades out the window as the supply guy racks up MASSIVE points. They get no kills, but TONS of points.

^^^what gives vanilla such a bad rep, stat whores. there good but at this kinda example ya wish they werent there. but alot like them, so i donno if its better with or without.

i play mods, i dont have stats, & for me i dont care i just like to play i wouldnt want to spend my time running up points doing nothing fruitful like that. kinda reminds me of pinball.......

Its actually fun to fly those Black Hawks on Mashtuur! So much fun to play with a couple of friends and have one support, one medic, one engineer, and one spec ops and a couple of random kits in the chopter. When you have one engie in that BH, its almost impossible to take it down. So you can nade/C4 everyone to hell

That I can understand. Teamwork and fun. The douchebags I'm talking about fly 500 ft up in the clouds on a map like Mashtur and cannot even see the ground. There's a big difference.
