Games are a source of entertainment. Made for us to sit back, relax, and enjoy. Now, why take away the privelage of allowing people to say what they'd like? I've never said "**** you" to someone and have them fall over dead. I sure as hell don't think it's going to harm anyone in game either. Lighten the **** up!

I know that some admins allow their children to play on their accounts, but c'mon, it's their damn fault as parents. ****in' hypocrites, every single one of them.

I know all of you swear, too, so no one try to get all self-righteous on me here.

well look on the bright side if you want to leave the server just cuss out every one there and then automatically like magic it will leave for you

ive never encountered the problem myself and I've got a pretty foul mouth (I really cant help it), im always ranbling away in the chat but its always in jest and usually directed at myself

kids have bloody foul mouths these days anyway so I think it should be allowed

EA/DICE Should add it as a filter option in the game browser. maybe they have in the patch! that would help, you could untick the box marked something like "filter chat words" and never worry about it again!

Its great, the people who go on about freedom of speech and freedom of opinions are the ones trying to supress the server owners when all they are doing is exercising their rights to do what they want on a server.

Freedom of speech goes both ways I guess. I dont know, I guess the saying still stands: If you dont like the rules, buy your own server. I'm still all for not filtering language, but I dont have the money to get a ranked server.

one thing I wish more servers would do is to just change the word instead of kick people for it. It blows when you get kicked for saying a word that you didnt have the slightest clue was a bad word, a.k.a sucks. I remember in Worms: Armegedon bad words were filtered in a great way. If you said f***, it changed the word to something like "pirates" or "johnny". It was great (although they had some words that i couldnt figure out why they had filtered, like bandit). You got some awesome sentences when people got really mad: I soccering hate this game and all the pirateholes that play, or Penny that, you're kidneying cheating you jellohat. We had great fun with that at LAN's.

Meh I rarely waste time typing, especially profanitys.Tho I think the Worms approach would be terribly humourous.
Also last time I checked one of the canned responsed "Sorry" says "Dammit Sorry" DOH look out gonna get kicked LOL

You can use UK swear words and not get kicked, but it seems mucho waste of time to type out swear words, better off using that time killing.

Well i don't mind if someone is swearing on the server every now and then but i have nothing against if they ban the word "noob". And writing in numbers instead of letters should be forbidden also imo.

Trust me i feel your pain, ive been kicked from lots of G A Y SERVERS...

I didn't know they had BF2 servers specifically for the homosexual community. I'm glad to see you're comfortable enough to come out to us. Congrats!

Any server kicking for "foul" language is useless crap.
