You're forgetting that you also got 4d 20h 09m 04s of gaming fun out of it so far....not a bad deal for only 60 bucks...

I think the game is great. Its achieved alot of things that no-one gives it credit for. Instead people winge about mostly minor (or subjective) points based usually on their personal opinion.
They dont go to work thinking that, but in the heads of the heads of department thats what their thinking. How can they achieve sales with the least possible work. Its always a business strategy thats employed almost everywhere, which is the single reason you see quality drastically being reduced.
Even Tom on Tom's Hardware pointed out that EA/DICE are kniving SOB's that shouldn't have released BF2 in its poor state, nevermind try for an expansion pack, only a FEW MONTHS after the pre-initial release, without a stable BASE (BF2) to begin work on. You dont seem to understand but, BF2 SF will have been based on BF2 at Patch 1.02, not 1.03. So they will have to later implement it at a LATER stage of development, 1 month before the deadline, and basically you have one messed up expansion pack.
Some of the bugs such as the name tag bug is inexcusable for a programmer. You have to be 100% incompetitent to miss out a check for changing a byte or a bool for god-damn-sake.
Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)
There are packaging and distribution costs, so the fact that its an expansion pack wont reduce these expenses. Also advertising aswell. And ofcourse publishing.
The actual content of the disc probably doesnt have a huge baring on the cost, I would think the only reason the expansion packs are cheaper is that on the pricipal of there being less content not financial reasons.

Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)
So far all I've seen is night levels. Sure hope they have some daytime stuff, otherwise I won't buy it. I don't feel like straining my 43 yr old eyes to play the expansion.

wow, Tom.
Im not saying the game has no flaws...but its good points FAR outway them.
I play alot and I only saw the nametag error once and im not 100% sure about seeing it.
We have no idea how the bugs are caused. Not all bugs are cause by people, they might be caused between departments or even by fixing other bugs.
I mean the networking side of the game will be seperate from the graphics side.
** I read interviews where they said that the will balance dark and light areas. Theyre also gonna add new weapons and vehicles...and before people say "so"...new vehicles and weapons add lots of new gameplay characteristics.
Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)
I'm definately buying it. BF2 is a great game and alot of fun. can't wait. IIRC, every game has it's issues, and BF2 is no exception.
likewise, every gaming board has it's share (or more then it's share ) of whining morons who think their tedious complaints mean anything. maybe to their mommies.
Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)
ill be going to best buy and torching the table with all the expansions layed out and then proceed to take a large **** on the pile of ashed remains while wiping my ass with EA's so called expansion, which has screenies featured on the original gamebox to get everyone ready to go!!!!
Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)

Re: Battlefield 2: Special Forces ($29.99 EB Games)
I'll buy it a few days after release from someone in the forum who is selling it for $20 because they didn't like it. I've done this will all the BF expansions and even got BFV for cheap this way.
