the price is more than I thought, but ya gotta pay to play, face it games are getting expensive. I fly Flight simulator 2004, and the PMDG 747 add on cost as much as the simulator, but worth it!

Flight Sim has been a little above average in terms of price for the last few years, or at least the professional editions they started doing have been. I haven't gotten one in a couple years, but really had a blast on 2002, I think was the last one I got. At least their helicopter physics don't have n00b compensation built in. :laugh:

We paid $60 for a handful of maps, one game mode, 18 classes (12 are similar) and only 6 unlocks. I think the expansion should be $20, as $30 seems a bit much. Ill most likely buy it though.

I'll wait and see how the patch goes. It's kind of funny how some of the content of the expansion pack seems to be standard on the console version.

Just preloaded DoD for HL2 for $17, def. more content then the expansion pack, and cheaper!

I'm going to wait 1-2 weeks after it is released to check out game reviews & player reviews. We know there are going to be problems (sigh), so maybe by the time I get it a patch will be out...

...that was sarcasm.

I think the game is great. Its achieved alot of things that no-one gives it credit for. Instead people winge about mostly minor (or subjective) points based usually on their personal opinion.

That's only about £15-£20. I can spend that much on a pizza/curry! I'll be getting it no doubt.

You can pay that much for an expansion to a MMORPG that you also have to pay £10 a month to play so this price is ok in my opinion.
