So if these guys are such n00bs....then why are you being killed by them
I find it hilarious to read whiney little (big) posts like this as they are about
n00bs kicking arse. Well if they were really n00bs, then they would be getting their arses kicked...correct?
Oh oh oh, and what about the bs accuracy of the crappy short distance guns, say for an example, i have a 50.cal sniper rifle and some fool is sitting in the distance ontop of a building with his crappy little spec ops gun....and what happens...i shoot and somehow the bullet doesnt hit, even though i sat there and made sure it was in the right spot, he couldnt see me until i did that, and as soon as i missed he, turns and goes bang ....bang bang bang bang, and im dead, and it was his crappy little spec ops gun.
This game needs serious tweaking and i hope that this new patch fixes these issues.
The grenade launcher is a good weapon, if i am running around in the open with one, then yes when someone runs around the corner, i start sprinting and hopping around, and i shoot as much as i can. but if i am hidden or in position then i will sit there and lob grenades as i dont need to jump up and down as a defence mechanism.
Get over the n00bs and play, im sure we ALL get killed by bunny hoppers, i know i have which is rather annoying as even when you do empty several rounds into them, they still manage to survive and then go pop right into you....but hey, its a game, it has players, players have different strategies, IT DOESNT MAKE THEM N00BS!!
My favourite thing to hear is:
"[DEAD]dudesname: Friking n00b killing me"
THANK YOU! Thats what I've been trying to say since you ass holes called me a nade launcher whore. So you guys can shut the hell up and stop whining just because I'm better with a nade launcher than an assault rifle.
On a side note.. 5 well placed noob nades will take out a tank. Just hit the front or rear treads right on and after your fifth the tank will be on fire then explode a few secs later. Each nade should take 3.5 bars off if it's placed perfect.
The word "Whore" fits perfectly with someone who uses cheap tactics. Also, it's a matter of interpretation and synonyms, not spell-checking. I don't think you're entiteled to comment on other's English when I noticed several flaws in your own posts and if you can't tell spelling from looking up words and what they mean. :)
Sorry, it just annoys me to see people go and criticize others' English when yours isn't perfect either.
That aside, I do agree. The so called "noobtube" annoys the crap out of me at times. The point of calling them "n00b" is related to the fact that often I see low-rank/new people on the servers I frequent doing absolutely nothing with any other thing and yet, run around like crazy throwing 20mm Grenades at their feet and getting lucky, often blowing themselves up. Sadly, a timer/distance feature won't be included in 1.03, so there's no solution for this right now. We just have to deal with it. Hopefully, they'll add a minimum time/distance travel in the next patch (after 1.03) as in with AAO to prevent noobtubers.
I play the Assault kit most of the time because it's a great kit to get kills with when I'm not part of an organized squad. It's hard to find a squad that really works as a team...seems like many squads have members all over the map and aren't really functioning as a unit. I guess many people join squads hoping to find an organized unit and then stray as a lone wolf after realizing the squad doesn't work. It's even rarer to find a squad that uses their microphones, but when I do....the game is a blast and I'll use whatever kit we need.
That said, I guess it depends on what you want out of the game. I choose the Assault kit because it gives the most bang for the buck in obtaining kills when working alone. What can I say, I enjoy the kill aspect of the game more than gathering up points towards the next promotion. Many guys play the Medic kit to rack up revive points. I've seen many squads comprised of only Medics who run around getting killed and reviving themselves for points. If that's what they're into, it's ok with me. Besides, I enjoy launching grenades into their reviving orgies killing 3 or 4 of them at a time. It's a real blast!
If you look at my stats, you'll see that I play Karkand 99% of the time and mostly as Assault. This kit with grenade laucher works great on this map. It does have it's downside though. I have many suicides, most of which occur in the fight for the southernmost flag. Many alleyways and corners lead to surprise nade launches. I kill myself and the enemy on most of them, but I do pay with a loss of team points.
I short, I think players have different goals in the game and different ways of reaching their goals. Battlefield 2 allows this to occur which is why so many people play it. Enjoy your game and remember that the guy running around with the grenade launcher is just doing the same thing.
Well, I can understand people getting mad about bunnyhopping lowskillers with grenade launchers, that just killed them and themselves in a narrow alley. There's no skill required. But if the grenade launcher is used on bigger distances than 10 m, there's nothing wrong with it.
I think EA should rather fix the (Prone)-bunnyhopping instead of working on the nade launchers.

Agreed, That is what I said defined an expert or even decent nade launcher from a n00b.
hahaha!!! Wow, I like this guy, has the right kind of attitude for real life military.
Speaking of such, were you in a branch of the military?
Aside from that...
Well I haven't played online much, but I do player single player ALL THE TIME. And I love being assualt and using the M203 or GB30(Ithink that's what it was called). And I must say, never have I thought about that jumping then firing, sounds like a ******* move to me, pardon the laungage but it's the truth...
But yeah, the red dots are your friend. If you can figure out the distances then by gosh you're right on your humble way to being a darn pro-fesh-e-nal.
I get shot more by the nades than by actual bullets when it comes to deaths from Assault players. However you realize if they miss you they die. Since its part of the game I don't really complain but I do find it irriating when GP-30 pops up more often than AK-101 as a death. If it works do it too. I stick to medic on karkand and the other "city" maps because there never seem to be enough of them and you heal yourself!

Who, me? No, I'm only 15 but I have often thought of the military as a possible career choice but if anything I'd be up in a jet sonic booming their sorry asses.
It kinda puts the assault part into the assault class. They run out of ammo and die all the time anyway.
First time I tried to go nade rat on Karkand I found myself killing a few APCs with ye tube actually, surprised me. With a support guy you can also play artillery.
