A player with a higher rank my a$$!

What does it mean when it says a player with a higher rank has filled the commander position? because a lot of lance corporals, privates or privates first class have won me when I try to be commander and I'm a corporal!

Bug, it isn't supposed to do that. The game probably need to go back to the main server to determine the "actual" rank. If it can't connect it likley just promotes the next person.

I heard it checks against commander points. Tho I migh tbe wrong, put yes Ive been beat by a few Pvt..

I've always recieve commander as a corporal... I dont know how you guys dont.

I believe that if 2 people of the same rank apply for the Commander position, the one who applied first gets the position. I'm not sure why it says that a player with a higher rank got the position.

Same rank does not mean 1 ranks higher on the EA ranking system.

A corporal with 17,000 pts outranks one with 13,000 or so its believed.

It has nothing to do with actual rank but if he has a higher commander score and more hours, if you guys are waiting for the round to start he will win the commander position.

Well i got mine by playing for the team to win, if not by commanding then by spec opping.
Where's your war college ribbon numpty? Busy racking it up in a blackhawk or just sitting behind the bike sheds with yer friends?.
